Is there another thread about Boots sale or the 70% sale this one is very short

Yeah, I just think partly that some people have lost interest but also even though we've been caught out with the date over recent years, its generally quite predictable when it's going to be the following year.
I've not felt the need to 'monitor' the thread as much as I've never expected it to be before this week. Makes sense that it's after pay day and not on their usual big promo change day. Also seems this year they've used the extra time to try and squeeze a bit more profit out with further reductions which I totally get and never understood why they didn't do this before.

I still think there'll be the usual turnout on 70% day though even though some people seem to have got bored of the thread.

Yeah i expect the usual turn out too!
I don't think i will be spending as much as recent years, and only visiting one store, whereas before i would go to 3 locals.
I have my big boots bags at the ready though!:money:

Yeah, I'm the same. Bargains to be had all year round so not worth going mad over it. I'm hoping to cut down too, just haven't the space to save anything, particularly the larger stuff. I try to get bits that can be broken down rather tha the larger stuff though.
  • I'll be there too :)
Its a train journey for me so no idea what the stock will be like (would have to pay £10 train fare just to go and check the stock beforehand which kind of defeats the object of getting the bargains)

So fingers crossed they have plenty left! Only really wanting S&G/Sanctuary stuff for myself to use.

There's always a bit of a dud every year - anyone remember the Zoella advent calendars a few years back that total flopped. There's prob still boxes of the things gathering dust at the back of warehouses somewhere (although her stuff seems to have done better this year)

Haven't bothered for a few years now since they stopped including the No7 skincare but called into boots the quadrant store in Swansea this afternoon.
I was really shocked how little was there .......at least half of the top floor used to always be packed full of stock but not at the moment.

There's a pretty small section at the back of the shop opposite the escalator.
The summer stuff is already out filling up the main space where the sale always was.

The stock there also seemed pretty pants tbh so if your thinking of going and queuing for the privilege I would suggest popping in first.

I nipped in to my local boots today.
There was only a fraction of the sale items left, usually there are racks and racks of stuff. They must have done really well this year.
Definitely not worth me venturing out early.
    Hope others are more fortunate.
curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!

Mine sometimes appears like this especially once the sun preps are out, come 70% day they though they bring cages of stock from out the back that they've either taken off sale or had shipped in from other stores. Definitely never been a shortage at my medium sized local.

Last year saw the most stock I'd seen left the following day and on 90% day.

Quantity does seem a bit hit and miss across stores.
Are we still thinking it's this Friday then, 31st Jan?
