Mine today had shelves full of pink...
Soap and Glory, Jack Wills, Champneys. Nothing to get overly excited about, I'll be popping along as normal but just for a few bits for myself and to break down for Advent calendars and crackers. Don't really buy the stuff for presents as such. It's kinda become a boring gift...

Spendless I think HP is now popular with a generation who were too young for it when the books first came out and it's still been kept 'relevant' with the Fantastic Beasts films and The Cursed Child theatre production but I can't say there's anyone I'd actually buy the items for (either too young or too old).

I did worry a couple of people I'd bought some items for a while ago might twig they were in the sale, but then again I wouldn't have been able to afford / spent the full price value on.

I admit I'm a sucker for the Harry Potter stuff :o (I'm deffo in the too old catergory)

I actually bought the colour changing lipsticks in last years sale, DD was rather impressed with them (they all fade to quite reasonable nude colours) and has been wearing slytherin regularly since xmas.

But would I buy them outside of the 70% sale? no.

I haven't even been over to the big store to look yet. Normally at this point, I'm planning the best route around the store :D

Guess that the 70% sale isn't tomorrow then? Not sure if I want anything though

Prices have dropped very slightly online and are now slightly less than half price (55% off if my early morning brain is correct) hmm that's new.

No hype this year ,,,, it’s what in the past gives us a cheer during boring Jan !!!
I’ve not even been in a store to see if anything is left !
Are we thinking either this Wednesday 29th or the one after ?
:money: I will never be rich but I'm happy :rotfl:
  • Called into my local smaller Boots today, they usually have around 5 aisles full when 70% off comes round but there was only half an aisle of sale stuff and all the summer stuff was out! First year I've known it to be like that.
Hoping Meadowhall has more stock with it been a larger store.

Been saying for a few years I don't know why they don't do this before they go 70%.

Apparently there was an issue with the show material which had to be reprinted and delivered to store on Friday. Stores have been told they will get an update next week.
