Why do you need so many current accounts?

I have one current account, is that too many current accounts? I want one other current account, which is between FlexPlus and Starling - that makes it two. Is two too many in your eyes?

It's not too many if there's a good reason to have them.

In my book, everyone should have a current account with at least two or three different banking groups. This covers your backside against IT meltdowns or any other problem effecting your ability to access your funds.
I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

    I love my job

I get all that, but the OP seems to be fixated on getting 1 or 2 more current accounts and it seems fairly urgent to them.

    How do I seem fixated?
I clearly said I can re-apply for Starling in a month, so I'll try and if it fails, I'll open up a FlexPlus. That's not being fixated, it's just stating my plan. It's not really urgent either, it's just the timescale I've set for when to open another bank.
