If anything she was just happy to get a lift home (our houses are less than 2 min walk away).

Barney, I'm not looking for sympathy mate.

So you park and walk or drive home on your own? I think I know the answer.

    I'm not your mate.
  • I drive home and she walks to her house. A minutes walk is better than a 30-40 minute walk.

Please don't ask a question and then presume to already know the answer, mate.

Please forgive me, but with what you've previously put, I'll presume the worst of you.

The biggest reason I'm considering giving false info to my insurer is if I get banned or convicted of anything then the army route is up in smoke.

Maybe I'm naive but I'd have expected better from someone hoping to serve in the army.
  • I'm not the perfect person, far from it. I've done a lot of down right stupid things in my life. This unfortunately is one of them occasions. But I'm typically a truthful person, if I see someone who needs help or who is in trouble I'm always the first one there. So please don't presume to know me or consider me a compulsive liar just because of this thread.

If I didn't want a career in the army so badly I would happily own up and take my punishment on the chin.

If you knew me you'd think differently, maybe we'd even become mates ;)

Whether we knew you or not is irrelevant, if you as an uninsured driver crashed into me I would not be happy. Why should my premiums suffer because you decided to chance it

  • Money, you're right. Although like I said to Barney, you do not know me.

I live my life by the army CDRILS as closely as I possibly can. Which whilst on assessment, behind closed doors, I can not say about most of the lads there.

I made a mistake, it won't happen again and now I guess I'm just looking for a way out of this without losing my chance to join the army.

You've made a conscious decision to drive uninsured and without a license numerous times, not just as a one off mistake, that in my book makes you no better than the scum of this world.
  • Csg, why would premiums go up if I pay for any repairs out of my own pocket? Maybe even a little extra for the inconvenience
  • Ok Barney, have a good new year chap. Don't feel the need to respond with anymore of your unhelpful replies
