Apple online order

The OP isn’t financially astute, excuse me, please don’t try to comment on my financial situation, Christmas can be hard for the best of us. I find that a little bit rude actually. If you are going to make me feel uncomfortable I’d appreciate you not commenting at all0

I’d be really annoyed at them.
They have made it clear they do not want your custom, so why this talk of buying another one?? Go spend your money on a different brand. Apple products are generally a rip off - you pay for the name and not the quality.Aylesbury_Duck wrote: »They can refuse someone's order if they have reason to doubt their ability to pay. They're perfectly entitled to do that as you are entitled to shop elsewhere if you don't like Apple's way of working.
Your annoyance is misplaced. They've done nothing wrong in refusing your order. What they may have done wrong is to put your money out of reach unreasonably, but I'm not completely clear that the problem is with them. It may be with your bank. Before you complain, I would establish just where the fault lies. You have no grounds for complaining that they cancelled your order. Please learn to quote the posts you're replying to, it makes it very difficult to track otherwise.
Thanks for all your lovely comments. The only nice one I have had is from pink shoes who clearly understands my annoyance. Why would they doubt my ability to pay if They have reserved the funds, what am I supposed to go, go and pay with the reserved funds. I’m not applying for Apple store credit. Also, I don’t want another Brand, I went to Apple for a reason, because I like the brand. They have done nothing wrong in refusing my order, but they have done me wrong taking the funds before they carry out their credit checks or whatever to pay cash for something. NEVER had an issue like this anywhere else 😡. They also can’t tell me why they refused to, very unclear. And I don’t know, 2 days, 7 days, I don’t know, why don’t you ask Apple and my bank for me because I know as much as you do0 -
Also, just saying as well I asked them if they could help me resolve this so I could place another order and she said she was incapable of doing so and wouldn’t pass me on to someone more specialised0

I've already explained to you that if they suspect it is a fraudulent transaction then they may send them out and it will be reversed and they will lose out.
Like I also said they haven't actually taken the funds they have just tried to process the transaction. They certainly will not have the money and it's your bank that's stopping you spending it because they expect the money to be taken based on the attempted transaction.
If such small amounts cause you difficulty then use a credit card in future for all spending and you won't have this issue again.0 -

Charming. Not sure how my post was not nice, but OK.
It's not a case of Apple doubting your ability to pay, it could easily be a case of Apple doubting that you are the genuine card holder as described in the previous posts. Also they are a private entity. If they want to refuse you service or cancel an order they can. The funds will come back and if they don't you can make a claim with your bank.
Complaining to Apple isn't going to speed up the standard process that's the same everywhere.0 -

Also the problem with apple that I have is the just seem really all over the place like they don’t understand what’s going on themselves? I recon it’s an issue with my address as I don’t think I had this issue at my old address, every other order I’ve made here gets cancelled. Very weird indeed.0

Yes ofcourse you can spend your earnings as you wish. But if you spend all your money and leave yourself short you can't blame it on someone else when you get into difficulties like this.0 -
I’m not in difficulties, it’s just Christmas, something has gone wrong, I can afford all of my credit agreements and can pay them off, I can afford to put food on the table, so if I want to treat myself and my family at Christmas, I will. I’m not blaming it on anyone here I’m blaming apples shoddy online store, which have reserved my money, before they can apparently even confirm my order properly, which quite frankly is a joke. I can just not afford, like a lot of people to buy a MacBook upfront, which is what my previous post was about. Nor can I afford to keep ordering items which are then cancelled. And also I can’t Quote it but I do not Want to take out a credit card as I will Be tempted to spend money on things I do not want. Unlike my catalogue which I am limited to the things I can buy. ThanksYes ofcourse you can spend your earnings as you wish. But if you spend all your money and leave yourself short you can't blame it on someone else when you get into difficulties like this.0 -
Not sure if I’m clear enough actually, reading through the posts I appreciate the help, but the only one I don’t appreciate is the one saying I am not financially astute. Honestly some people are so rude, imagine just looking for some help and seeing if it’s happened to anyone else then you start getting comments about your financial situation, when they don’t even know you.0
