    Day 7/ 16 complete:beer:
  • Up to 8/17 after this week :)
  • Absolutely hectic week at work! Nice to think we're halfway through the month already though. Have managed to keep up with packing lunch - some days it's been as straightforward as grabbing a tin of beans, other days ive had leftovers. One day I had cheese, chutney and biscuits! My bank balance is feeling the benefits though. :)

  • Checking in with another 2 days of lunch, first one was sweetcorn and parsnip soup (by far the best soup I've made so far) and today I had left over spice roasted potato salad. Up to 10 for me!

I’ve managed to do 10 days of lunches!
Forcing myself to prepare the evening before otherwise it’s so tempting not to bother.

Even had 1 day where I forgot it but managed to scrape together a random collection of offerings to make it through. 😂

  • Hi all, I'd like to join this challenge. I've got a new job and they provide free work food, fruit and drinks.

It's super exciting, as in my last job I could spend £30-50pm on food and drinks even with bringing my own things in.

I can see that it's also tempting to not make the most of as you can't pick the meal and their food is ridiculously cheap. I spent 1.40 yesterday on a fryup and a main meal I fancied instead.

I really want to save money though, so I want to try and not buy anything at work.

I have 7 working days left in jan, so please put me down for 7 days no spend!
