also the buds can be wirelessly charged,

i have a couple of pads that do this.

the buds themselves have 5 hours i think, but then when they go back into the case, the case then charges them up and holds 1.5 full charges worth. and then you charge the case up with the buds in of course. wired or wirelessly (usbC is the cable).

forgot that as I dont really use wireless.
I did once use my phones reverse wireless charging to charge the buds case though

yea ive done that, and gave some juice to a girl on bus who seemed in a right state not being able to make a call coz she went flat!
  • Wireless charging is an amazing feature i just can't wrap my head around.
My devices aren't new enough for that kind of technology yet. Maybe in a few years time.
  • The best truly wireless earbuds I have experienced so far are Haylou GT1 from AliExpress - they are that good, I bought another pair in case the first pair break. At £15 a pair, you can't complain.

I can watch entire 3 hour movies on them no problems without comprising on the volume in order to maximise battery life. The sound is nice and you can sometimes feel the bass. If I were to criticise these earbuds, I would say that the higher end sounds are slightly lacking.

Another to consider is Cambridge Audio.
    Seen some very good reviews

Thank you for the link. At that price, depending on what it costs to ship to the UK then you can't really go wrong.

I'd recently read good things about these. I see the ratings they get are consistently high. Everything about them from reviews sounds good and to be honest i probably would have bought them.

My only gripe? The appearance. Look at the images and how they seem to stick out of the ear. Some would say i'm being fussy i suppose but that's not a look i'm after. If they got consistently high scores and good reviews and looked like the Samsung or cre8 buds and at that price then i'd get them. I just don't like their look.

Your trouble is that you want a long battery life without having large batteries, you cant have both.

It's free shipping, unless you want them fast.

I reckon I could easily get 4 hours from the Haylou GT1 earbuds, without compromising on volume or charging from the case in between. That should be enough for the OP.

    Sorry i'm afraid i can't agree.

The Samsung ones look like they'd fit the bill. I'd be happy enough with the battery life on those, provided the battery life was as stated. The second link that @custardy provided from Amazon look (specs wise) even better to me and i would be very happy with them. It's just the design i don't like with those things sticking way out of your ears, or so it seems from the images. Not discreet like the Cre8 ones or the Samsung ones.
    without compromising on volume
This may sound like a silly question but does this impact massively on battery life? I don't have my earbuds up at full whack. Looking at the slider on my iPhone now the setting is perhaps 33%. It's certainly between 25-50%.
