TRUE wireless earbuds?

I don't know if it's poor wording in the manual but yeah i'm with you on that. I could ask them for clarification but i'd probably get more of an answer at the bottom of my mug of coffee right now based on previous with them. I thought it'd knock off the charging once charged but who knows. Maybe it's ok in the case, maybe it's not. When they're working they're fantastic but i'd just like to not have to charge it before every...single...workout.That is a serious design flaw by the people who made them. All the other ones I have seen and used the earbuds are designed to be kept in the case (because that's what a case is for) and they just stop charging when full. They are also kept in the case in all the packaging I have seen on other earbuds.
So for them to design ones where you can't keep them in the case is ridiculous!.
Looking at them they're the style that i like. Pretty much the same as what these ones are. Just a little more than i'd like to spend as they seem to be 3 figures. Still, if they do the job. Maybe once these ones die or if i totally have enough of them. Thank you.I run Samsung buds. easily last 2 hour gym sessions.
Thank you for the link although why something with a hook? I don't really like that style, having had a set like that before. The ones i have do not drop out...at all. If i could post a link i'd show you a head shake test. I thought it was marketing but i tried it myself and sure enough, they do not drop out. There is a great roundup on macrumors:

For workout I would be looking for something with a hook like the Powerbeats Pro!0 -
i bought s10 samsung and i got a "free" set of galaxy buds, they work great,0

I got a cashback deal taking them to about £90 as like you,3 figures is a lot.
I dont like the massive 60's Star Trek style ones that stick out the ear. The buds are quite discreet.
I would say I dont hugely rate them for call quality. So if thats a deal breaker for you.
For me its 99% music/video0 -
I'm old fashioned i'm afraid - i put my phone to my ear if i take a call. I don't want to be one of these who just randomly start talking and then someone thinks you're talking to them but you're actually not.I got a cashback deal taking them to about £90 as like you,3 figures is a lot.

The S10 is an interesting point. I am currently an iPhone user. My next phone will be an Android of some description, it's just a case as to when and which phone. I was going to wait and see the reviews when the S11 comes out in a few months time.0 -

£79 after Samsung cashback.
Pretty sure that was the sort of deal I got last time0 -
Two questions really. First one is what is "Samsung cashback"? Is it like a gift voucher but you have to spend it on a Samsung product?https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/samsung-galaxy-buds-10899-7899-with-samsung-cashback-at-o2-3372307

Second question is you said they easily last 2 hours. I don't know if you're a regular charger type of person but how long would you say they last between charges? Would you get 3, 4 or even 5 hours out of them or have you never tried? Thank you for the link though.0 -

You fill in an online form on the Samsung cashback site.
They check you meet the T&Cs and you get payment.
IIRC the last one was direct to my bank. its proper 'cash' back not some voucher.
Samsung do it a lot. Ive had it with a VR,Note 8 and buds
Cashback details here

I dont really run mine down to know full duration but after a long gym session (for me 2 to 2.5hrs,im not even at 50% (battery can be checked in the Samsung app)
I would expect 4 hours for sure and likely more. Official stated capacity is 6hours play time with 13 total from case rechagres.
Keep in mind the case is USB C so quick charging. My case generally lives in the car on charge when Im not using them.0 -
I like this and it's something that's missing on my Cre8 buds. You just get the image of a battery in the top right corner with a level. There's no actual percentage or anything, no app to tell you exactly how much is left, you've just got to go by eye. And even then when it's looking like 50% it can be a matter of minutes before it's an 0% and you're then listening to whatever the gym is playing instead.(battery can be checked in the Samsung app)0 -

apps pretty decent. Shows battery level for each bud individually.
App also has EQ settings
'find my buds' where you can make the buds make a whistle to locate them if dropped/lost
manage notification settings eg what apps get notifications and if the app reads out the notifications.
Also you can select the actions for the touchpads on the buds when held. default is volume up/down
Battery case has a charge indicator light.0 -
Too many lost individual buds here to go there anymore. Sorry now.
Have Sony wireless buds but admittedly they are on a wire but what the heck, they are around your neck and can be taken out of the ear no problem. I love them they have fifteen hour charge too.
Sorry, I know that is not helping you too much. But I will never have in ear buds again because I am scatty and lose them too often!0
