  • Another ebay sale means another 1% can be ticked off. Now standing at 5%.

Not sure if this is in the rules but I've decided to take the difference between the interest charged and the minimum payment and add that to my 1% contributions.

    My 1% is £501.12
  • Hopefully not too late to join this, had some delays getting my account activated.

Have enjoyed reading some of the ideas above.

My total is £20,000 so one per cent for me is £200. This year I aim to clear off 15 per cent of that.

I've now paid 4% off through ebay sales. Seems a long way off clearing my debt but 4% is better than nothing.

I'd like to take part in the 1% challenge. My 1% is £115. Hoping for 30% by end of next year. However I am currently unemployed. I'm a freelancer who usually gets jobs really quickly, so I'm hoping when the companies are back from Christmas something will come my way quickly (it usually does). I'm also hoping for a promotion/pay rise for my next job, if that's the case I'll up my percentage!

My usual extra income are Quidco - from booking work related stuff mostly, transcribing, ebaying and I'm also trying to sell photos on stock websites. Although I've had no success yet as I don't have many up. I'm trying to make the most of my unemployment by editing the photos I have to upload them!

Still unemployed... but I've decided to only include my YNAB 'off budget accounts' only. I am using an AMEX to earn airmiles and to delay paying some of my spends until the next pay day. I'll pay this off in full each month!

So far I've paid off 2.25% off so far this year. These are my usual direct debits - some minimum, some more. All the debts on 0%, so all money going towards the debt.

I am selling a few bits on ebay, which normally would be going to my debt, but right now it's going towards living costs! I'm hoping to get a job soon so I can continue on reducing my debts!
