So, first, update. My 1% is £73. Since signing up last month I've been paying at least £17 off the credit card each week, more when I can do this (in addition to the regular direct debit of course) and yesterday hit the 2% mark. I'm also saving £2 coins and will pay those in when the pot is full.

I know it's a case of each to his/her own but have you thought about paying those £2 onto your card as you get them?

The only reason I ask is that I've been doing that and have noticed a really difference in the amount of interest I pay.

As for me (#8)  I'm currently on 26% - would love to get to 35% by the end of March but doubt very much I will as ebay sales have really slowed down

Evening all! Number 16 checking in.
I've been doing some extra hours at work and so has my husband so we've now paid off a massive 62%! 😀 So that's £2200 gone. Having no council tax and water bill has helped so it will slow down next month but hopefully it should all be gone by June when my 0% interest rate runs out 😁
    mortgage £800 overpayment 2022. £600/£2400 2023 🙂 savings £1853/£1800 😊
  • Got sick of looking at the odd amount of money in my saving account. Reviewed my outgoings until payday and decided I could put the €28.40 towards it:

    33%!!!! 2/6k

I'm tempted to up my savings goal again as the amount of overtime I'm getting means I'm well on track... but I know I have car bits to budget for so I'll leave it as it is for now. I don't think it would alter my spending habits or help me make more money so better to exceed the target then be deflated I think :)
19/12/14: Spent 10 years of savings!!
:heart2: ..... to buy my first home. :heart2:
    11K OP 31.03.19

Current goal: €151,000 deposit Ireland and counting, to buy Spring 2022 we hope!

Hi I don't think I have a number, even though I have posted before. My 1 % is £50 and at £45 I am close to my first 1 % . I am saving up for a housing deposit to buy or move rental. This is going slowly as my EF and citizenship fund takes priority this year.
Made it have now got my 1%.

I was going to have a big percentage to pay off this month because of £700 of Quidco cashback coming my way, but I may have to use that as an emergency fund if we get quarantined or have to self isolate! Will delay paying off the card until the worst has passed!
