4. JUST DO ONE THING (courtesy of bit_by_bit)Saturday is a glorious autumn day - clear blue sky, bright sunshine & not that cold 🥳
I was up & dressed at 9.00 a.m. - unheard of for me on a Saturday 😉 well let’s face it on any day of the week 😉 😂
Day 5 has started well - whilst I was having my mug of tea, I wrapped a couple of presents for DH & DSis. I then caught the bus to the P.O. - posted a couple of parcels to my nephew in France & bought a few large letter 1st class stamps. Back home on the bus, then called on my neighbour G to ascertain the name of one of my other neighbours (so I could write the last local Christmas card) Ended up spending 45 minutes chatting (suitably socially distanced - he was inside & I was outside) to him & his wife about the dire situation we are in - Covid19, Br*x*t, students, job losses, the NHS, vaccines, the U.S., our government (I use the term loosely 🙄) - a very wide ranging conversation & we came up with a few solutions 😂 We are thinking of forming our own party called The CSP - The Common Sense Party 😉. We will be recruiting members - the only requirement is common sense ideas to sort out our myriad problems 😂
Next day 5 task is to peel & roast all my old vegetables ready to make soup - obviously after drinking a coffee 😉😉2275 Cardboard box - RecycledSee you all later.MrsSD ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🏅

make up binned, unknown items binned, ink cartridges put away with my ink pen, not sure what to do with roller (apparently for cellulite - belonged to DD1 who has none) , chalk and acylics put in art supplies (to be thinned later) , curtain hooks away with supplies and also spare key rings- about 12 items disposed of rest rehomed 2294 - 2315. also 2 damaged folders and 4 items of old uniform name tapes off 2315 - 2320

Saturday - Day 5 - DH & I prepped all the old vegetables - two full roasting tins oven cooked. Half will be used for soup & the other half will be bagged & frozen IF I can find space in the freezer 😬
Dinner was a bit disappointing - a beef & kidney casserole - way too tomatoey even though I followed the recipe exactly ☹️ accompanied by mash & cabbage. Will not repeat 😉
As the tasks have been so small I will be doing a Day 6 before claiming a gold star 😉
2276 - 2277 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans - Recycled
2278 Wrapping paper
2279 Kitchen detritus - BinnedSo sorry to hear that RL has been difficult Marpau ☹️ It doesn’t seem to have slowed you down too much 😉👏 Well done on reaching 1000 👏 - one Gold Star ⭐️ is on its way to you 🙂You have been busy TC77 👏 Very pleased to see that you have NOT been infected with the Throwaway Attitude that seems to have gained momentum since the 80’s 👏 However it does make decluttering difficult 😥 😉 I did have to smile at the tale of the phone charger 😆Getting there Rootle 👏 I am looking forward to awarding your gold star for reaching your target 🙂
Now now Nicnak (wagging finger emoji) You are still disposing of clutter & earning a few pennies as well 👏 Every little bit helps & you never know you might find a ‘little gem’ in the course of decluttering 😉MrsSD ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🏅

Three ebay items ending today. Not lots of money, but every penny counts.
I also wrote out my Christmas cards. I didn't buy any more this year which was amazing for me. I usually have loads of packets, but the last few years have been good the last few years and not bought any. I usually buy them in the sale anyway. I'll give my mum another roll of wrapping paper as well today.
I'd love to join your CSP but I can be distinctly lacking in some of it!!September 2017 Debt = £25330

Well my DD has moved out....Boo..... what a week, she has moved to next town 20 miles away, feels like 100 when its chucking it down, roads all flooded on thursday and Fri snow overnight....it was not fun driving, when idiots drive too fast in the dark through HUGE puddles and it totally covers the car, happened twice, couldnt see for few secs.... was really scared, not had that before.... then icy and slushy rds next day. Luckily didnt rain sat when all her bedroom furniture went and the contents of the lock up!! One bedroom totally full, had to climb over boxes to get her night stuff out. Moved by nephew and obvs he didnt know what she needed last night!!! I can quote MSE here had a government ISA savings account. Nice bonus to help thanks Martin Lewis, now shes searching for internet/broadband, electric etc., No internet In house, tv wont show any BBC, there is a sky box left which she dosent want i think maybe bbc going through that. Couldnt count how many items have left the house, but i know its more than 2000.......phew.
Well now getting few bits she didnt take...dog bed, dog blanket...bet I know where she slept last night, im sure shes wondering whats going on.. then off we go again... lamb casserole in slow cooker to take....wont have time to cook a roast today, got to clean the disgusting cooker before she uses that!!! Take care everyone...
Ps i will join the CSP, cos no matter what/who our government is, things wont be fixed. Unfortunately, most of them dont live in the real world!!!!7 -
garden_girl2 driving sounds scary and hope all gets sorted at your daughter's new place.
DD1 asked me to bring her old mattress to new place (houseshare), DD2 and I eventually got it in the car, when she phoned and said there isn't anywhere for the mattress provided so didn't want! out it came!
2338 -2340 bedside table, fabric boxes delivered to DD1 unfortunately, she put more back in the car! will help with my numbers as counting as I have to sort. Most of these and other items she brought back from before are going to donation hub today.
2341 - 2365 lamp, mini grill, over 20 hangers, cutlery, 3 lever arch files, and bag of bedding (already counted).
2366 - 2367 book and CD material case in CS bag.
Sold item on ebay but can't find at the moment. Mystified when less in the house (still lots) why I can't find things. Have some empty drawers (Ok 1) and parts of shelves so did an organisation target.6 -
Garden_girl_2 many hugs coming your way, it is difficult when a daughter leaves home. My DD left home some time ago and I feel very lucky as she only lives down the road.More cardboard boxes flattened ready for recycling and the packaging binned. It's such a shame that this Xmas I have much more than usual being recycled because we have been unable to purchase items from an actual shopLots of pre-bought xmas wrap used for wrapping presents, probably had some of it for years, saved me £££'s 'cos I haven't bought more......as I usually do. More crafting stuff utilised into making xmas cards so my stash is reduced too. In the cs bag an unused roll of Spiderman Christmas wrap as my DGS is too old for it, hopefully someone else will be happy.MrsSD I'd like to join the CSP too. I'm with garden girl 2 as no matter who's in power they will all make a mess of things. ( plus I'm fast turning into a rebel
)
Happy decluttering allnan
