Very cold here too.I'm sitting with one of my stash crochet lap quilts on my lap obviously! TC77, I used to do these for a CS that has shut as they solved the problem of using the wool stash . That's the problem with crochet/ knitting - finding a purpose as one can only use so many scarves. I am reluctant to buy new wool for a big cardigan project for me in case it doesn't work out well. I love crocheting to relax as the rhythm is very calming. So, I'm doing random squares and lengths in blue to use up the stash which hopefully will become a throw/ blanket.
Meanwhile back on the decluttering front i have decluttered
7 pairs of knee-high pop socks
1 bundle of footsie- those things to protect feet in summer.
1uu face cream to recycling.
Total 9 = 42/365.
I have also Mariekondoed blouses - five out to use this winter in rotation to wear them out. Also the same thing with fabric hankies 25 for regular use. The rest are with the 200+ in with the towels etc. At one time I collected vintage and pretty hankies to make a quilt but the variation in sizes was making it difficult so I started to use them as I don't like adding to waste with paper. That was another of my craft projects that fell by the wayside.
Keep safe everyone.7 -

Had a brilliant evening watching live stream of a show by a favourite band, ticket was surprise gift from my daughter! Really cheered me up so I'm ready to hit the weekend on a high now. Got a tip visit planned so up early tomorrow to get stuff out of the lean to and into the car so I can get it done before the grocery delivery arrives.Magnolia Stellata7

4. JUST DO ONE THING (courtesy of bit_by_bit)Friday started damp & cold but stayed dry all day. Day 4 - went to P.O. - posted ALL Christmas cards (friend got in touch with new address) + 3 of 4 parcels to France + stocked up on 1st & 2nd class stamps (spent just under £250 😱). Then bus to MrA - picked up a couple of presents for DH & DSis + a brushed cotton duvet set & fitted sheet + a small food shop. DH did the main shop at MrS.Got back to a letter from my bank stating that the 2nd cheque from my friend had been rejected 😡 Phoned friend & she is spitting mad - she did everything her bank asked & they still refused payment. Her bank c*ck*d up in May & June so when this is sorted she will be moving banks 👏
Another Day 4 task - wrapped the last of the presents for France + finished the neighbours’ cards.
Dinner was oven baked salmon fillets, the very last of my hg potatoes (😭) boiled with mixed vegetables.2267 - 2270 Kitchen recycling, 2 newspapers, drinks cans - Recycled
2271 - 2273 Padded envelope, large cardboard envelope & wrapping paper
