Wednesday has been (mostly) a bright day. A few “frogs” dealt with today 🥳
Number 1 - lots of disinfectant & hot water to clean out the wheelie bin (it smelt awful even though I always use a bin bag 🤔) Used a broom to scrub the inside + I remembered to scrub the inside of the lid 😉
Numbers 2, 3 & 4 - DH was wearing his halo 😇 to coach me through tasks on the computer 👏 2 = address verification for Oyster60+ Card & he paid the fee 🥳;
3 = updating iPad password; 4 = printing off form to be able to register online re NS&I (no more cheques for Premium Bond wins ☹️)
DH also fed the worms 🙂
Dinner was gammon, oven chips, fried eggs & chopped tomatoes + the last black puddings from freezer for DH & I.
2126 - 2128 Cardboard box, kitchen recycling, cardboard packaging - Recycled
2129 - 2131 Kitchen detritus, plastic packaging, garage detritus - Binned
2132 Glass bottle with specialist label returned to neighbour
Great work oceanspirit 👏 No shame (wagging finger emoji) - I am usually very bad at paperwork but am trying hard to get it cleared before the end of the year. You are warming up with your friend’s paperwork 😉 stoking up your ‘enthusiasm’ for sorting your own paperwork 👏
Just remember elsien, you have done the hard work of decluttering & bagging up 👏
Nannywindow, do you have any neighbours, friends, family who have also been decluttering - perhaps arrange for a cs to pick up lots of bags/boxes of donations. Good work on the recycling 👏 especially the quick turnaround 👏

Loads will be leaving this weekend with DS1. He has been back home for 2 years now so loads of stuff.9 -
I had long list of things that have gone with DD1 to her new shared house,
around 60 , hangers, crocker, pots and pans, storage boxes and small boxes, food and toiletries 2101 - 2160 however, she has also brought back stuff from old place (unexpectedly) she doesn't want to take, including a bed and mattress I gave her, office chair (more comfy than mine), table, weights and around 6 boxes of assorted clothes.bedding and things yet to be identified. Hopefully some will be ok for CS when they reopen and hoping she will return to sort! If I'd known I'd have counted what's going more carefully to get nos up!9 -
After saying about the lack of cs bags through the door, one popped through the letterbox yesterday. It's been filled with as much as possible and was collected this morning. Yay !! I can now start on filling another.DD took all her parcels home from my " warehouse " this morning, along with a summer top and some xmas crafting stuff which she will take to school for her class to use. Unfortunately she left lots of packaging for me to recycle, but that's ok as I have plenty of room in the bin and bag as they were emptied this week. In the bin a smashed plate, DH must give up on the juggling, he's rubbishStay safe allnanPS MrsSD I don't know the neighbours very well as we have a lot of new young neighbours that I haven't had much contact with yet and the houses either side are empty at present. Most of my elderly ones have either died or gone into homes. We are now the "old neighbours" and a bit of a "street billy no- mates " at present, hopefully that can change come the summer.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently8

4. JUST DO ONE THING (courtesy of bit_by_bit)Thursday was a strange day - DSis & I hadn’t gone to bed & it was 5:00 a.m. 😔 but when outside having a ciggie she had noticed that a neighbour’s door was wide open 😱 We walked over, DSis checked for lights & I shouted from the front step. No response so went home & dialled 999. I spoke to a very nice lady explaining my concerns - house is occupied by husband, wife, 3 yr old & a dog (which hadn’t barked) Given a reference number & informed someone would be round in 15 minutes. A car arrived in 10 minutes & pulled up in front of my house - the policewoman & policeman walked over, shouted up then entered house with torches. Couple of minutes later we saw the husband in his boxers coming down the stairs wondering what on earth was happening. Upshot was that the door had not latched & had swung open in the wind 😌 (the dog was away). I apologised to the police but was informed that I had done the correct thing 😃 Excitementover, relief all round & off to bed.Got up a few hours later - cold, damp day. DH did sm shop. DSis had a bath & phoned her son. I knitted & watched TV. Lunch was hm soup & crusty bread. Dinner was sausages, mash & plum tomatoes.Friday is another damp, dreary cold day ☹️ Milkman paid - now have no credit 😕 More paperwork has appeared 😖. I have a To Do list a mile long, but cannot summon up the enthusiasm for anything. I need to give myself a good kick up the jacksie 😉
Dinner was scrambled eggs on toast with bacon for DSis & ys chilli sausages for DH & I.
2133 - 2143 Cardboard box, 2 newspapers, 2 plastic pots, glass bottle, kitchen recycling x 2, drinks cans x 2, card packaging - Recycled2144 - 2146 Kitchen detritus x 2, plastic packaging - Binned
Nice to see you villagelife 👋 Excellent decluttering 👏 You will miss DS1 but the the silver lining is that your numbers will soar 😂
Oh dear TC77 😉 Perhaps you should just add another 40 😉 Fingers crossed that most of the ‘stuff’ can be moved out of the house ASAP 🤞
Serendipity strikes nannywindow 👏 You needed a cs bag through the door & one appeared, was filled & loads of stuff now out of your home 👏👏 I will have to start calling you nannyzon 😂 All that packaging, once cleared, will leave you with more space than you know what to do with 😉 Maybe you could arrange juggling lessons for your DH 😉
The trouble with autumn/winter is that the weather is not conducive to getting to know your neighbours 😕 but at least you have something to look forward to in 2021 🙂Good work Nicnak 👏 identified as potential clutter & straight out 😉
Great work retiredinfrance 👏 RL has a habit of getting in the way of decluttering 😛😉
Good work Happy_Kitties 👏
Great work TC77 👏 Good luck with the crochet 🤞See you later - hopefully having done some decluttering/cleaning 🤞 - just the washing up done 😔MrsSD ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🏅

Only 2 pairs of tights. According to DD they're itchy so that means she'll be never put them on again. I might as well give them away.

Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x10 -
I pile of admin paper to compost
2 books to book exchange
I uu tube of foot cream to recycling
1 pair of trousers to CS - i already have two pairs for best and two for home/gardening is enough, so no point in hanging on to these while they still have good enough wear left.
Total 5=8/365.
RL needing a lot of attention so I am concentrating on reducing the paper pile, using up the toilettries especially the pile of hotel soap, about 20 years worth, and books. I am a crochet fan so the stash of blue wool is being used up into a blanket.I read and crochet to relax .
Keep safe everyone.7 -

retiredinfrance - interested in the crochet - is it something you've done for years. I used to knit and keep meaning to get back to it but as you can buy cheap knitted things thought crochet more interesting.
Started sorting DD1 boxes left behind. Alot of linen washed.
2161 - 2170 linen and gift things to CS and some rubbish binned.9 -
