It's a horrible afternoon here, wet, wet, wet ! This morning I made my first venture out into the community after over 5 months, I was a bit anxious as I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was all good and I managed to declutter £'s to the meat-van man. That was enough excitement for one day for me. I've also decluttered 5lbs in weight too, which I'm very happy about !MrsSD I have visions of your DH having the worms lined up ready to be fed ! Made me chuckle anyway. ThanksnanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently9

Thankyou once more for your kind words MrSD. I agree it really is a habit now. A habit that gets in the way of decluttering sometimes. I am impressed by your all nighter and then energy to move all that wood and stuff.
Dropped my DD off for her shift at the CS today, she took in a bag of stuff for me so I my count is now 58/100.
Tomorrrow I am getting up a bit earlier than usual to drop off some more stuff to the refugee collection centre. 8 bags and two boxes; none of it mine. I will be glad to be able to get the car cleaned out.
DH and DD out looking at a car tomorrow evening so I will have the house to myself for a few hours. May even do some tidying in the craft room.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. Saturday is another overcast day but no downpours as yet. There is definitely a chill in the air ☹️ DH went round the corner & collected a bucket of fallen crab apples & blitzed - worm food or compost invigorator. I made a courgette & potato soup - I seasoned before zizzing & tasting so found out that I was a bit heavy handed with the pepper 😱 However, pepper notwithstanding it was tasty & I will make again. Shout out to Purplepenguin70 - thank you for the recipe. Currently binge watching old John Wayne movies I.e. being lazy 😔😉

The car is clear
I am very happy with this. If the weather is good tomorrow I will actually clean it, maybe
Thanks for your kind words Mrs SD but I would feel like I am cheating if I counted other people's stuff whenI am just moving it around.
It wouldn't keep me tuned in to how much of MY stuff I am getting rid of. DH is enjoying the building number of bags of our stuff going out of the house.
Worked at the CS today. We were already full for donations as usual by the time I arrived. People still irritated about being told this and dumping bags angrily and running off. I am glad that there are 4 other local CS open now so I can send people to other places if they are not too concerned about who they give it to.
I picked up a shirt for myself, a lovely blouse for my DD, I checked with her first, and some DVDs and prints. I am selling two of the DVDs and one I have already given away.

Hi all,
Not been here for several weeks, but I have been busy!
Its too much to type it all up and its too early in the morning - insomnia makes me grumpy! Anyway, I'm up to 2742, highlights of which include a shopping bag full of about 40 lightbulbs passed on to my sister, a lot of which were freebie bulbs from various energy companies, recycling, balls of wool knitted up, and clothes given to charity shop.
Also decluttered meter readings to energy company, which will hopefully mean in a couple of weeks when they have updated the account we can get a small refund.
