Try the Land Registry , especially if you own the house , whereas a mortgage company has them if you have one , but if you bought it outright , you should keep the deeds somewhere safe , like solicitors and building societies do

There is a small fee to pay the land registry , try online , not post

I suspect they may be correct , you may own the house land but not the parking areas

There was something similar on TV or in the papers not long ago , maybe last year ?

Is yours one of the two freehold parking spaces on that map?  That's good evidence to append to your WS.

You can email (as well as post or take to the court in person in a ring binder for the Judge) your defence, WS & evidence to the court, giving you the weekend to work on it.  Please don't rush this vital stage.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • If yuo own the freehold - be very very clear on this! - then theyre talking crap
Unless you gave them explicit powers to remove your parking rights unless you display a permit etc, theyre acting outside of their authority and you can happily sue them.

Yes the ones highlighted in blue are my 2 parking spaces. The house is definitely freehold its just the parking that's  now under question.  Thankyou . Hopefully it will then be OK if I email it on the 8th  by lunchtime ?

I have contacted my conveyancing solicitor to double check as I feel unsure and am not clear from the estate management emails who say I don't 'own' them . My house is definitely freehold.  Just unsure with the parking situation,  other than knowing myhouse came with the 2 parking spots

    Surely your solicitor investigated this?
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Yes, you msut clarify the status of the parking spaces. Your house is not relevant in this. Just the spaces.
  • I have some information from a tp1 form . Please see attached....
