This is what I don't understand about people who vote for Corbyn. They see all these people in need. But they're not prepared to pay a penny more in tax themselves. Someone else whom they've decided in sufficiently rich can pay.

How do you know they're not happy to pay more tax??
  • Couple of points
    1. What have his sexual preferences / morals got to do with his ability to run the country
    2. all politicians lie and bend the truth - Corbyn lied - remember the ram packed train and the queens speech
    3. there are no functioning socialist countries where the people do not suffer

Because if they voted for Corbyn, they didn't vote for the party which said they'd raise income tax by 1 p for everyone in order to pay for improvements to the NHS and social care.

You actually want a prime minister who behaves like a buffoon, lies habitually, and has the sexual morals of an alley cat?

Surely, even the most ardent Conservative Brexiteer wants someone with a bit more integrity than Boris?

Sorry, im not sure which result you are suggesting i would have preferred?

It does highlight how bad Corbyn, his policies and what he stood for were, for someone like Boris to be able to win such a landslide doesn't it?

You said that you couldn't be happier. Consequently, you must want a PM with all Boris's bad characteristics. That seems a weird thing to wish for.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

There wasnt an outcome from the election that would have made me happier than a stonking Conservative majority.

As for Boris, your views on him arent shared by me. Yes there are plenty of Tory MPs i would prefer as leader, but I still like the guy.

I wonder whether you will still think so highly of him in a couple of years, when you have seen more of him?

    Thoroughly agree.

The other option however, was someone who had a tax plan not fit for civilization, seemed unable to handle blatant anti antisemitism within his own party, and shared a stage with terrorists who blow people up.

Want my house when I die do you Corbyn? I don't think so. Off you go now.

It might be what anyone wants.......but beggars can't be choosers.
The alternatives were worse in my, and many other's opinions
