County Court Claim - OPS & DCB Legal

Hi all,
Just a quick one, I submitted the defence on 30/12/19 and it's been logged on MCOL. I haven't heard anything regarding the directions questionnaire from either Northampton or the claimant. Is this normal to take a while and is there anything I should be doing in the meantime?
Many thanks0 -
The CCBC send your defence to the claimant and they have 28 days to respond and indicate whether they are continuing or not. We/you don't know when the defence was sent to the claimants.0

You received a letter from the CCBC saying that they had sent your Defence to the Claimant, didn't you?
That letter also said that the Claimant had twenty-eight days to decide whether or not to continue.
Maybe the Claimant has responded to the CCBC and there is some sort of delay in the CCBC preventing the dispatch of your DQ. Who knows.
But if you are concerned, why not download your own DQ?
Item 8 in the list in post #5 above should help with that.1 -
Ah ok thanks, yes I received the letter. I'll download the DQ and get a headstart.
Many thanks1 -
Hi, in the same situation as retropeck with chichester college and DCBL.
Did anything come of this?

PM the original poster. We know precisely the same as you do having read this thread. SFA!brokebas12 said:Hi, in the same situation as retropeck with chichester college and DCBL.
Did anything come of this? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hi Everyone, apologies is this isn’t the right way to go with this. I am completely new to forums but trying to get some help. I’ve just received a county court claim form from DCB Legal limited. For several unpaid parking charges dating back to December 2014. The amount they are trying to claim from me is £2103.99! I can’t believe it. I can’t even remember getting original letters back that long ago. I’m now panicking and don’t know what to do. I know I need to respond to the claim but don’t want to get the response wrong. Can anyone offer any help? Should I seek legal advice? I have to respond within 14 days. If anyone can advice that would be amazing. I’m based in Horsham West Sussex but the court it is issued from us in Northampton. Many thanks in advance

Hello Ben,
If this is about Chichester College I just helped someone...not @retropeck, instead this was the case by @Staatsgrenze where he saw off a claim about that place and it was discontinued. I am also happy to assist @retropeck and I see he pm'd me about his case at a time when I was inundated with private messages! Not sure I replied...sorry if not to the OP, do message me again as you will need help with your WS & evidence.
Whether yours is about that college or not, Ben, start your own new thread and tell us a bit more but without saying who parked/was driving. Choose your words carefully in your new thread and talk about the car being parked and the 'driver' in the third person.
You need to firstly read the 2nd post of the NEWBIES thread and acnowldge the claim and find the template defence because when you tstart your won thread we will want you to tell us you have read the sticky thread and have acknowledged the claim on MCOL using your Govt gateway account (not earlier than 5 days from the 'issued' date of the claim).
Please don't reply here. This is @retropeck's thread.
Your hearing will obviously be local to you, as Northampton is just the MCOL handling centre.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
