Well, I know we ain't started yet, but I've done some money tidying and managed to get all the debt in the one pot ready to make it as easy as possible to attack next year. So I'll make my first entry now my target is official:

    #175 = £0 / £4700

All the best folks- we can do this  happy holidays!
Pay Off Debts by Xmas 2025 debt £0/7400
  • Hello :)

I am out of debt but always feel I owe myself a debt as I was so bad with money in the past. I really owe myself about 25 grand (!) and currently have about 3000 in savings for a house. The only way I can save is to call it a debt.

Ideally I would like to pay back 10 thousand this year. I don't think that is very likely. I am going to aim for 6000 instead - fairly difficult but possible.. 500 pounds a month. eek.

I'm in again this year. 2019 was a disaster for me with lots of legal expenses and house repairs so I'm in more debt than ever. I can't remember my number and I'm on my phone so hard to scroll back through but I'll come back and report it.
I will be aiming to pay off £10000 over the year (although I don't think that will do it to be honest - I won't know final figures until the legal ordeal is over)
    ETA: I'm number 56 please :)
  • Please can I join too?
