Have you looked to see if you can do a 0% balance transfer?
Even if one wasn't open to you 6 months ago, banks are fickle and new offers pop up (just not as much as they used to).
I just kept checking the MSE credit club for offers. Well worth a look, if you haven't already.

Sold another item on ebay, so an extra £14 has been sent to the my Tesco 0% CC account, this is now £1970!!! Then the edit!
I have just had my £530.89 refund from Easyjet! Only adding £273 to the overpayment of my CC for the moment.

Under 3K whoop whoop!!
Keep up the debt busting, every little bit helps to get shot of the debt!

Well it's a good day, the best day ever in my financial life. I am finally debt free after 7 1/2 years. Last £150 paid off today. Can now sleep at night well if it's not too warm I could. Such a happy bunny. Big thanks for everyone helping me along this journey which has been one of ups and downs. Finally get there in the end.
