    Words fail me Amazing!

Thank you, such a huge relief
    I agree 100%

Although I tried to help as best I can , respect to that superb defence above , typos or not, it's marvellous

The main thing is also that I bet you have a good idea where it's all come from , why it's in there and what it means , even if not fully (so you are like me , close but no cigar)

If it doesn't do the trick , the WS plus Exhibits plus costs schedule stage should , or the hearing itself

I've just seen an email that another local Brighton OPS one that I wrote a defence for has been dropped without a hearing - always good when that happens!

In your case though, as 4 PCNs depend on it, expect a hearing in the Spring and stick around. We can exchange pm's later when I have more time.

Pointing out the typos was meant as a help not a criticism.

Agreed , I meant it was a terrific piece of work , warts and all

You should see all the typos I make daily on here , spend half the time correcting them , lol , merry Christmas to you all

I have spent days criticising the o p , but it's to try to help them win , tough love or not , I and we are all on the side of basher52 , and definitely not the scrotes at OPS
  • Thank you all so much!!

It is right that I should have written the defence, but it just was not going that way.

I would never have used some of the everyday words " eye watering" etc. It did occur to me that the timing was not a coincidence. I understand that The Hub staff open the barrier for many of the students without a word of 'being careful about the parking issues'. The students have complained, albeit verbally but to no avail. I assumed that I had to stick to the letter of the law, the facts, so to include reference to student arrivals / departures would have been my "human" statement rather than here.

So much to read and take in and under pressure to get it right.

Will now send over with a covering email asking for the hearing to be in Brighton. An address is that of a relative. Do you know quickly the courts take (roughly) to issue a hearing date?

Again, thank you all for your tolerance and support.

The next stage is when they issue the DQ and with the holidays you should expect delays , then it's down to them passing it to Brighton court , then depending how busy they are will depend when the hearing date is set , subject to OPS paying the court fee

So could take months , even if the aim was say 6 months from MCOL to hearing as a target , it does vary, assuming it isn't discontinued or struck out

Perhaps calculate the time from the claim form to CEC16 to the hearing date when coupon mad reported back ?

You don't need to ask for Brighton in the covering email yet, you get to choose it at DQ stage (as per KeithP's much earlier post).

Some time at least to read and read. I will practice in front of a mirror, it can only break once. Will be nice to get back to something of a normal few days.A young person has learnt one huge lesson, You try and protect them,

Happy Christmas, may even have a toast to this thread on Wednesday

Wow!! 140 posts from receiving a Claim form and the Defence isn't filed yet.

That must be some kind of record. :D
