Flat near horse race track

I am considering buying a flat about 100m/110 yards/320 feet from a horse race track... The track has races twice a week. I am wondering whether that would be a reason that should put me off or not? Thanks

I would suggest hanging around on a race day and working it out for yourself. I would have thought parking is likely to be an issue.0

Which track? That would give us an idea of how busy it would be.It's nothing , not nothink.0 -
Are you sure it has races twice a week? Most courses have many fewer than that0

I am not really asking about noise or traffic since that I am planning to check out on a race day before I commit. I am mainly wondering whether there would be any other possible problems I should consider.0

i lived in a flat over looking chester race course. Would have been great other than I had no interest in horse racing. Make sure you have private gated parkingAn answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......0

They'll probably host weddings and functions too. Check their website. If at the end of the same road, it would prob put me off.
Is it the actual track that's say behind the garden fence, or do you meant 100m to the entrance?
Is the property near the car park (presuming there is one)? That's quite an irritant in itself.2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0 -
Much depends on if you like racing, really. Also if you can gain any employment there, which will bombproof (near literally) carparking issues.
I share Martindow's uncertainty as to the frequency - meetings are (a) not quite that frequent even in high season & (b) gallops are a 7 days a week proposition.0 -

Well, it is about 100m to the outside boundary of the race stadium. Actually there is another building in between.0
