Here, several tracks have open air concerts in the summer. Newmarket does I know. I know Newton Abbot race course holds antique fairs. I guess you could contact the race course and ask them what other activity takes place other than racing or maybe a neighbour close to the flat you are interested in?0

Agree with Slinky...knock on neighbours doors and ask them. Also check online if people move regularly from that street?
It probably wouldn;t put me off, as it could be a nice leisure place to visit as they have other events on at my local race track, such as antiques and toy fayres etc.0
