By the way, this forum is wonderful. And full of amazing people offering help just because it is the right thing to do. I feel so, so grateful for your support.0

This is why we do it, to make a difference for as many people as we can reach, and kill the scammers' business model bit by bit.

Hi wonderful people,
So I received the Claim form though the post today. Am I right in thinking I can complete the Acknowledgement of Service for more time (it is nearly Christmas after all)?
If this is right, am I -
1- defending all of claim
2- part of claim (as a sign was up but it should not have been)
3- contest jurisdiction
Also, do I need a legal representative? Think the answer is no, but want to check. I will email the management company tonight to make sure they have evidence of their responsibility of the car park and evidence they asked for the sign taken down.
Thank you in advance.0 -
Don't do the AOS yet
Post the issue date from the claim form below
Email a SAR to the DPO at the PPC if not done before , attaching a copy of the V5C as proof of I D under the GDPR law
No you don't need a legal representative0 -
Issue Date 17 Dec 2019
SAR (subject access request) to the DPO (data protection office?) of Vehicle Control Services? Just checking I understand all the acronyms. I sent my last email to DPO of Excel Parking as they had been communicating with me using an Excel Parking email address. So I hope that was right.0 -
I don't own the vehicle anymore. Should I still have some thing somewhere? It was 3 years ago when it was stolen, a couple of months after the incident.0

the claimant parking company is named on the court claim , so email it to the DPO at the privacy email address , so Excel if it was Excel , VCS if it was VCS etc
only deal with the claimant , so which claimant is on the court claim ?
attach a copy of the court claim form that arrived today if you dont have the V5C any more0 -
Found the V5C of the stolen/accused car. Front page or all pages required?0
