Banked banked my £2 coins today (Metro Bank) So another £250 into my ISA. Will report my new total later in the week once I have been paid.(Metro bank has a coin machine that doesn't charge you to deposit your coins and you can pay in more than five bags, unlike other banks).2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Morning all. I'm back and thanks for your messages. DH got an unexpected (small) bonus which has taken us out of negative savings so I'm going to see how near I can now get to my original target.

Every cloud has a silver lining and all that jazz, because I’m definitely not returning to work until mid August we will have a further saving on childcare costs. Just off the phone to Nationwide to increase our overpayment by a further £400 per month. A decent amount of positivity in these troubling times.

Hi, #51 reporting £325.29 for May. I think this will be my best savings for the foreseeable future as I have lost my job and finish in two weeks. Future is daunting but grateful for having some savings. Sending best wishes to anyone else in the same or similar predicament. We can do this!2026 financial goals & challenges!

OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I finished the year at £2880.99/£3000 or 96.03% of my annual spend so I am sticking with a £3000 annual budget for 2026
I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the grow your own in 2026 discussion thread
