Not actually putting anything into savings this month. Throwing everything into our emergency fund for if the worst should happen. As an NHS worker I am lucky to still be working as is hubby. When this is all over I will update savings but have decided on a bigger emergency fund in the future anyway.4

This is a great idea, I’m going to save as much as I can but not actually set a target figure.
i already save 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, every time I get these denominations they go into a savings pot.
Due to the Coronavirus I am having to home work which is nice as I have no petrol costs, no sudden urges to spend on those odd refreshments, snacks out of the canteen or vending machine, and no unnecessary spending on the weekly food shop as hubby is doing it and he only buys what’s on the list. As well as this there is no weekly trip to the local pub to meet friends for drinks and a bite to eat, and I’ve had a refund on my Easter Holiday5 -

The idea of this thread is that everyone sets their own savings target, no matter how big or small, and each month they log their monthly amounts saved which @slowlyfading updates and tracks everyone in a spreadsheet. Its really good as its a great platform to be inspired by others and to keep saving yourself!
