A couple ticked off for me today, £2 in the terramundi pot, 20 mins me time.

I can also tick one off of the reduce plastic / Eco changes, which will be hard because I've already made lots of changes . Anyway, I have been using Daddy O shampoo from lush which doesn't come in bar form although the conditioner does and I already use that. The shampoo is now empty so I've made the swop to Beauty Kubes. Shall do a full update at the end of the month.

I am not at home for another 13 days, staying with DS2. some of mine will be hard to do. However after I posted yesterday dragged myself out for 20min walk in snow. it was good. 20 mins is so doable. walk for 10 mins, then turn around. it was stimulating as it was -11c, although didn’t feel that cold as it’s a dry cold and not damp cold.

Ok still can’t quote on tablet, but am glad the topless drives amuse people. I remember saying it work for the first time having changed jobs..... the looks on my new colleagues faces.....could almost see them thinking,it’s always the quiet ones you have to watch out for!

I feel like I am failing at the first hurdle. Made a start on the running, walking, reading and no tech challenges but the knitting project is proving tough. I got a free pattern years ago and some wool in October so made a start today while at my mum's so she could offer advice. Got the edging bit done but now going into the lace bit of the pattern and have given up. She tried to correct it 3 times for me and has also given up. She thinks the yarn might not be correct for the pattern but is confused as the pattern is a beginner one as says it should be easier. I have abandoned it for now and will revisit in a couple of months when I have maybe got more confident with my knitting and have practiced the pattern stitches away from it.

if you go back to the OP these should be fun so i intend if any of mine seem in reality to be too stressful / hard I will tweak as i go. I have e.g. already changed '20 churches' to '20 places of worship' as would really like to visit the local mosque one day

Just back from the local rep (1/20 ticketed events) where i had icecream at the interval (1/20 icecream flavours) and we stopped for fish and chips on the way home (1/20 fish)

I would like to find an easier knitting project and see how I go but yesterday's one will certainly be shelved for quite a while. My mum sent me a knitting pattern a while ago so I will look at it and see how I take to it. I was enjoying it until the new set of stitches... :rotfl:
