    Morning all,

Well I'm up, showered and dressed
    Bed made
    Breakfast eaten
    WM on
    Pellet stove cleaned and reloaded
    DW loaded

Was supposed to be working this morning so got up earlier than normal as general strike here and heard that they were going to try and block the road to work, just leaving house when I get a text from student to say her daughter is ill so she's not coming. Frustration. Still gives me most of the day to fly. And boy does the place need it. Did manage to tidy round the kitchen last night so that isn't looking too bad. Decorator here again, lining paper going up on the ceiling so hopefully that will stop the paint peeling off every few years

    Off to do HHI

    Morning

First time for ages I went out last night to a social event for a couple of hours, then had to drive home in very thick freezing fog..........not a good move, got back ok, but it took 40 mins instead of about 20 mins.

So far kitchen is done and not a lot else.

Ordered a part to fix my oven the heating element has dropped down it seems a toggle screw will fix it! 0.99p so it is not the end of theworld, just hope it solves the problem.

Manic tidying this morning as bil, instead of arriving very late this eve and not needing food, is now leaving work at 2 so will need dinner. And he's veggie.
So my task has been finding the dining room table under all the cards and general gibble.
95% of cards will be posted on my way to work, including flycards.
    Table clear enough!
Mr N has unpacked and found homes for the vast amount of bird food I ordered on Black Friday as it was 20% off.
About to look up where it is you send old mascara wands for wildlife, which will mean more gobble decluttered.

    Walking done in part
Wardrobe mended, rail fell off, so gorilla glue has been used to glue it into place, tomorrow, I will sort out my clothes again
Bathroom sink unlocked, knitting needle and a kettle of boiling water seems to have done the trick.
Left over stew now being eaten for lunch

Today has been achieved. I even managed some flying.
Bathroom sink and loo cleaned. Shower and bath will have to be done at the weekend.
    Bedroom floor vacuumed.
    Another load of washing done.
    Kitchen sink unblocked.

I’m going to collapse in the chair with a cuppa now.

I was supposed not to be at work but got called in - so ended up rushing out without even having done my morning jobs. I actually went in in the clothes I was wearing - jeans and a jumper!
    The jobs are stacking up...

  • Plagues galore round here.

Vomiting plague. Fever of 40 Celsius and going 'all wobbly' plague. Huge headache and sore throat needing antibiotics plague. Plus a plague of 'I feel sick [strike]because I've got a test next lesson and want to get sent home so I can miss it[/strike] people. Amazing how AFs become almost fatal in their intensity when there's homework due in as well, but miraculously resolve when there's a special foodstuff to be enjoyed in the canteen. Oh, and the 'I've got asthma' (but no mention of it on the system, not had an inhaler for about ten years and it's purely coincidentally come back just seconds after they've heard the Bleep Test equipment being tested). That miraculously disappeared as fast as it came when told that they can't go on the trip that afternoon if they're suffering from untreated asthma and it hasn't been declared on the trip permission slip/no medication has been prescribed or provided.

In addition, parents. I said I'd sort it by x date and I have. I'm actually rather busy on a daily basis and were I to dedicate some of my already vastly oversubscribed time to providing you with unnecessary updates and handholding, I wouldn't have had time to do it. Hope you enjoyed reading my exceedingly polite and measured response. I know my boss did.

Going to get Himself to stab me with this week's injection and go to bed and tomorrow, I am not going to lift anything other than a cup of coffee until my designated start time and will be downing tools at my finish time On The Dot. It's Post Jab Day, it's AF #1 full Day, it's I Have Completed All The Time Critical Stuff Day, it's I Survived The MIL Visit Day and IT'S FRIDAY.

My flying has consisted of spraying down the office surfaces and nuking my hands with hot water, soap and antibac gel all week. Any drier and my hands will split apart.

Two weeks to go. Two whole weeks.

I might be filling in a job application for the local council tomorrow night. Actually, I will be filling one in. Because this is ballcocks.

Hugs to those having a tough time or feeling poorly...

I was going to go to the supermarket early today as I can’t face it on a Saturday now it’s getting busier...didn’t get up early enough to though so that plan has failed.
I’ve started the dailies by setting the WM going, and I’ve eaten breakfast, everything else will have to wait until I have a break from paid stuff or after I finish.

Have a good day all. TGIF!
