    Afternoon all

Quiet here, hope you’re all ok.

Just had lunch break, during which I...
    Finished dailies
    S/s kitchen
    Quick vac of ground floor
Emptied washed and refilled litter trays
    Collected a parcel for DH
    Posted cards

    Oh, and ate my lunch!

Back to work now, see you soon!

Wednesday evening already, what happened to this week.

No flying done at all here. Monday was a trip back to visit family, traffic was awful but had good fish and chips on the ferry on the way home. Yesterday and today disappeared to work. As if the kids aren't excited enough I've agreed to do hand prints with them all next Wednesday, aaaaaagh!

Decorators seem to be getting on with it, will hopefully have a few hours at home tomorrow so can get on with some flying. 1 shirt ironed for OH this morning and I will iron one tonight for tomorrow morning. I've got an early lesson and traffic risks to be bad due to strikes.

Easy dinner tonight and early night.

I'll be back flying again soon I hope

    xx

Flying was based mostly at dancegran’s house today. All the professionals turned up at the same time. Very strong painkiller has to be stopped by a week from today so I can imagine I will be getting some phone calls. DG’s filing done. DG’s bedding washed and dried.

Cards posted, just need to hand deliver the rest.

I have bought most of DH’s Christmas presents and my best friend’s. I don’t know what to buy DS2 as he doesn’t know what he wants. He found a small book in the USA but the shipping/duty charges would make it over £50 with a 6 week delivery lead time :(. Ds1 has requested vouchers.
My sister wants slippers so I have got those.

OH survived his op so hopefully he will stop freaking moaning lol.

    DW loaded.
    3x WM
    2x TD

I am so fed up of mess and doing everything (not blaming OH there at all) I seem to spend my entire life cleaning up after grown up people.. I am so utterly fed up of it... I am supposed to be getting my new cooker installed on Sunday and I don't want them in my house.. I have paid for installation but I REALLY don't want them in my house, I don't want to have to be nice, I don't want to tidy for them arriving and I am getting all hysterical about it!

And HOW is it only 10:30? it feels like 4am!

Golly, how did it get to be Wednesday already? I'm 2 days behind on the e-advent calendar. I've actually been fairly busy in work, house and social events and had looked forward to listing them all (yes, sad).
Bad news on the floor front. Insurance company said it doesn't cover damage caused by leaking washing machines if the source is either the flexible hose or the washing machine. Er- that doesn't leave much. . . The floor man highly recommended that we get plywood to cover up the damaged floor, once it has dried out - unless the warping improves a lot. So that's a bit over £600 for the work and 'parts'. And they can't fit it until Jan 6th even if it dries out sooner. So the kitchen will look like *** over Christmas, not to mention the potential for mess when I drop food etc on it.

This morning I did a huge amount of washing up as dw is pulled out to let floor dry. WM has to be dragged in and out of garage, being reconnected every few days so we can wash stuff. Sorry to moan, especially to dizzy who has lived through far worse.

Rant over, will continue doing stuff.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Ha! Moan away - it always helps. If it's any consolation we are still pumping water from the well outside our back door, as the water table here is so high... you're not alone with water woes x

Bizarrely, I've felt much more chilled about the water this year (chilled, as in relaxed, rather than cold) despite having to go neck deep into our second, newer well to rescue the trash pump that had fallen in. Dayum, that was freezing!

I've been pottering rather than flying this week with tinsel sewing and gymnastics practices taking over all my spare time. I said goodbye to my long-term boarder on Tuesday, which was very sad. She had been staying pretty much the last 12 months and I did wonder if her owner might ask me to keep her, but he's going to see how things go in his new place down in Cornwall. I do miss her though :(

Did some meal planning for the next couple of weeks and will leave the [STRIKE]hovel[/STRIKE] house in DH's hands as Small and I are off to Cardiff for the competition tomorrow after school. Eeek! Wish the boys luck please!

Morning all. Hope you're all ok today and any water woes go away.

Good news at the docs yesterday and stronger painkillers meant I slept much better last night.

Today I have paid stuff and work meal out tonight. Must get presents wrapped especially secret Santa.

Will see if I can fit in flying.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Hugs to all, especially Narc0.

Minimal flying here too. I’d like to say it was because I was on top of Christmas preps but actually not really done anything of substance there either. I found the card list last night along with a few left over cards so I need to get started on those at some point.

I managed to do some of the paperwork pile last night but wasn’t really in the mood. I did order a retirement present for a colleague though so that job is ticked off.

I’ve just pulled out a storage box from under the bed and found that DH has stashed yet another bag of his treasures under there. Not happy. Dust bunnies now all over the floor as well. **sigh**.

Off to work shortly so I’m going to blitz the basins and loos, hang up a load of washing then dash off.

Need to pick up DD after school for her dentist appointment at a new-to-her dentist, which I’ve changed to. Fingers crossed this all goes ok and we can all switch over.

    Have a good day all.

Well I didn’t get present wrapping done last night, that sit down turned into an extended one! MUST do it today!
    Anyway on to flying...
    WM swishing
    Aired and made bed
    Laundry shuffled

Paid stuff next, other dailies to be done later.

Have a lovely day all x
