    Day 17 NSD’s

Finally broke up from work and we were bought food at work so just a quick tea tonight as not hungry at all.

I’ve just done all the housework as finished early from work and sat with my tree lights on and started watching killing eve as I didn’t see it when it was being aired. I am looking forward to some lie ins and some chill out time.

My Christmas food gets delivered Sunday but I think there will be quite a bit left over as DD is working a lot over Christmas but it’ll be used up after Christmas so it’s not a problem.

Made a chilli it’s cooking in the slow cooker as we are going to be a bit chaotic over the next few days with visiting family etc so nice easy dinners sorted out and will stop me getting take away. DD is paying for take away on Christmas Eve as part of my present which I’m looking forward to. I have told DD she needs to pay for her Spotify now as she’s earning plenty so that will save me £10 a month.

Debts will all be paid tomorrow so I can do an update then, I’m looking forward to seeing the balances go down again. I’m liking the NSD’s now as if I don’t spend anything I’m less tempted by impulse buys which has been my huge downfall in the past

Wrapped the Christmas presents so all ready now for Christmas Day to start. My food gets delivered on 22nd so that’ll be a spend day.

Off to national trust after the food gets here so really looking forward to that and spending time with DD. It won’t cost me anything as I’ve done a packed lunch ready for it so apart from a bit of petrol that’s all it will cost me.

I need to get money out for my nephews Christmas present as I have no idea what to buy him and money is always appreciated from him.

Really looking forward to Christmas now as for once I’m organised and can just enjoy and relax.

Enjoy your National Trust day and well done for taking a packed lunch. It's such a good membership to have. I have a couple of local places to visit regularly and I often go for a walk with a flask of tea. I've also visited some NT properties further away this year. I've seen some beautiful places and Stourhead Gardens in Wiltshire is the winner of my loveliest place of 2019 award.

If it's any use to you, I stopped using fabric conditioner when I read what it does to the washing machine.
I now use a couple of tablespoons of white vinegar instead.
And congrats - you're doing really well !

We had a lovely day thank you blackcats we went to a house near here and the Christmas decorations were beautiful.

Thank you for the tip diamond I will give this a go.

The food was delivered early this morning and the good thing was they sent me a huge joint of beef but on my order it said it was unavailable so was refunded I rang the customer services and they said they wouldn’t charge me for it so I have a massive piece of beef now that will do us at least four meals.

Off to see cats at the cinema in a bit with DD she works there so we get in free so it’ll cost us nothing as just had a huge dinner of homemade fish pie and mixed vegetables so I really don’t think I can fit any snacks in.

DD is off shopping with her friends tomorrow so I have a nice peaceful day and time to relax.

Just making sausage rolls and scotch eggs ready for tea time tomorrow, DD has asked for marble cake and banana loaf as well so will make those later.

All the food is ready for Christmas now and we are having a nice peaceful day, DD is working until 6pm tomorrow so we are planning on opening presents after she gets back and having a buffet. Dinner will need to be had at 12pm so she can get into work for 2pm.

    Not much else happening today

Had a lovely Christmas and relaxed with DD and ate far too much but that’s what Christmas is for.

Today DD is at work again so I’ve just cleaned the house and now watching Netflix with a coffee I can’t eat much as still so full. Had some lovely gifts my daughter bought me big bottles of zoflora only I could get happy with that lol.

Had a new slow cooker and money from my brother and my nephew. Off for a nice bath and time to chill.

Glad you had a lovely Christmas. The slow cooker will be really useful. I love using mine although I'm not very adventurous but it makes the most amazing beef stew. So nice to come home to the smell of dinner with no work needed for a delicious meal.
    Have a relaxing evening.

Hi blackcats, I have a small slow cooker already that gets used a lot but I asked for a bigger one so I can batch cook loads of meals at once. I hope you had a lovely Christmas and time to relax :)

Bought a couple of jumpers today from the charity shop for £1 each they’re really long so will be great over leggings and jeans until this cold weather decides to go.

No food needed this week so that’s saved and will go towards debt, which will pay most of the small one off and then on the 22nd January that’ll be gone now too.

It’s so nice to have some time off and time to do whatever I want
