See its not so bad @lucielle
Happy new year all! Back to what constitutes normal for me haha. Start of a new week, have just checked bank and all standard payments made so whats left is mine yay! Not that I have anything to buy/do but its still a nice feeling to know that I'm no longer trying to eek out small amounts for a month.
Waiting for some surveys to clear so I can cash out and make extra payment to target loan so no movement on debt reduction, b'ah! but I know i'm at the stage where everything has to just tick along and i cant get frustrated that theres very little movement.
Another lb off this week so weight is going the right way albeit slowly.
Chilly here again but dry at least, trying to walk 5 miles a day in jan so the less rainy days the better haha
Hope everyone is well and all raring to go for the last bit of winter, hang on spring is coming!!

    Happy New Year!

I’m going to get on the diet wagon too, am eating all the naughty Christmas food that is left in the house today and I will be good from tomorrow 😂

it must be nice to have a more “comfortable” amount left for the month, well done!

This month is a tight one for me (my car is being naughty and needs some work) clearly I need to work on my pots!

Hope the weather stays dry for your walks! X

    Happy new year too @EchoB
Ah your cars turn to be naughty then, nice stern talking to it will need  I am hoping there are no disasters for me so the comfortable amount stays the same haha.
I bought very little naughty food for the xmas period so didn't have it hanging around to tempt me luckily but the walks are still needed, so far so good on the weather front though phew!

    Good Morning people!
A new week with very little to report again …….sorry! Everything continues to tick along nicely, a pretty standard week and weekend. Still waiting to cash out on surveys to make additional loan payment, normal spends money is still ok and on track so all in all its going ok.
Managed to walk the 5 miles every day last week and while the number of lbs down isn't great (2) I have seen a change in body shape and I do know I'm prone to developing muscle from activity so I have to be aware that I may not always see big numbers.
This month will be a council tax free month so i'm going to pop that extra money into my savings ready to put towards paying things annually rather than monthly.
That's it from me, really wish there was something exciting to report

Well done on the walking.  I haven't done nearly enough mainly due to the weather.  Also getting back too late at night to do any.

    Morning all!
Opps! forgot to post last week......not that there was anything to really update with haha
Payday today so have broken the 50% paid off for the last target loan, annoyingly I haven't been able to make an additional payment to it as only gives the option to clear in full when I try to make an additional payment so have squirrelled the money from surveys into my savings and kept track of the amount so when I have enough for the final payment I can make it then.
Everything else is looking ok (really should whisper that so that nothing decides to go wrong  ) so just waiting for all bills to come out. It is very strange not having to juggle stuff around all the time but I would rather have a budget that is working and be boring that be in a state of panic all the time!
Like a lot of places we had snow to wake up to yesterday, all looked very pretty first thing yesterday morning when I went for a walk but even then I could feel that it was very crispy underneath the top layer so clearly going to ice …..looking at it today it is very icy so going out for my weekly shop later will be fun if it hasn't thawed
Walking has been ok, a few day of very heavy rain did divert me from the 5 miles a day I had planned but I am averaging 4 miles a day for the month and with a few more days to go I hopefully can get to average of  5 miles  by the end of the month, luckily ive thrown in a few longer than normal walks which has helped.
Hope everyone is ok, can see its starting to get lighter earlier and darker later so that will really help with moods, spring is coming!
Have a good week all

You're doing so well with the walking.  By the time I've finished work its too dark.
