    Good morning all!
I'm really sorry I haven't been on here, nothing bad just felt a bit meh about everything, think  it was the combination of not having the horse anymore and the same week the, what I thought was a really nice chap, bloke I was seeing just ghosting me which considering his last message was telling me about a massive work project, apologising he hadnt messaged the night before because he was working and asking if I was ok, was a bit out of the blue but hey ho I appear to have found my mojo again
So whats been going on financially? Well not much to be honest, target loan 5 is done and dusted so just the one left which I have increased the payments on and should be gone in a few months "yippee!!", I did increase the payments to the old credit card via the portal of the managing company but they never updated the payments so I've been putting the money aside and will just make a big payment every once in a while and hopefully that will be gone by the middle of 2021.
Still have the two rooms left to decorate because enthusiasm for it has been down but determined to do them before the end of the year, have put on a stone due to thinking I needed to look nice for someone else and not doing it for myself but that state of mind also appears to have changed (hopefully...) and will not spend any more weekends eating ridiculous amounts of biscuits.....oops!
Christmas shopping is all done, within budget, just waiting for the stuff to be delivered so I can wrap and be done with it (yes I still don't like Christmas bah humbug! )
So having given myself a boot up the backside I should be back to posting regularly with my oh so not exciting life haha - sorry if anyone has been concerned, just needed a time out to adjust to things
hope everyone is ok, I can see I have masses of catching up to do! that'll teach me to disappear for a bit!
  • I'm glad you are back and hope you start to feel better soon. Sorry to hear about the guy that's ghosted you, I've had a similiar experience recently and reminds me why I hate dating so much 🤣🙈

Its reminded me why I hate it too! in fairness he was very convincing as a nice guy, I generally see through people like that quite quickly but he was good haha
His problem though not mine so not worth thinking about him anymore......and he certainly wasn't worth the weight gain :confounded:

Glad you’re alright, was wondering where you’d gone.

Dating is a nightmare. Like you say it’s his loss and you don’t want someone in your life who has no respect for your feelings.

Well done for clearing loan 5 and for staying on track 💪

I’m sure the 14lbs won’t be around for too long x

    Happy Friday all!
Trying to get back into the habit of posting here again so I don't wander off again...……...
Not a lot to report, money wise all ok, do get paid a week early this month due to the C word but, unlike past years, I have money there for me until actual pay day so will be transferring that out into my savings account before transferring it back on my actual pay day, that will be a new approach for me
Have got back on the survey wagon properly this week too, have only been dabbling over the last few weeks and cashed out £5 odd today, every little helps and all that.
Other than that its been a usual week, been waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy better with my eating (phew!), made sure I've walked at least 3 miles a day so hopefully will get the lbs back off quickly (well enough of in time for the c day when surely I'm allowed to munch on a load of rubbish for the day????? please???
Hope everyones week is going ok and you are looking forward to the weekend, I think I've caught up on most diaries of the people I follow regularly, sorry if I have not I am working through them as quick as I can.
As I've been on here for a year I think I need to have a little look at my beginning posts to remind myself whats gone on, my signature keeps my up to date with much I've done but its always good to reflect back
  • I think most of us this year will be transferring our pay out until end of month. Otherwise January becomes a very long month.

    Good Morning MSE world!
Dark and wet with me, bleurgh!
Just when things were going well the car broke down, used my breakdown cover but they couldn't see what was wrong with it (just typical of any problems I have) so the car has gone for a little holiday to a garage to see what the problem is, fingers crossed its not something that is massively expensive...……….
Not got much else to report, I had new curtains for my living room (present not bought) and getting the pleats right on them is so fiddly!
Hope everyone is ok, shortest day is almost here which means the days will, slowly, start getting lighter

  • Hello!!! Nice to see you posting. I have also lost my mojo, buy mainly due to house selling crap. Just reached ridiculous levels now.
