@lucielle I did have a stern word with him before he was carted off to the garage so I hope he listened...…...no news from the garage yesterday so will have to phone them today.
@Drawingaline with everything you've had going on i'm not surprised you've lost your mojo, what a mess its been for you

I believe today is Friday so it must be time for an update!
    Good Morning all
So not an awful lot to report, car is back from the garage though and I am £140 poorer but was expecting worse so I'll take that!
Have not been able to get back into the full diet (think its the time of year) but did get a lb off this week so if I can be as sensible as possible until after the c word then I will hit the proper diet properly ……….
Did have a lovely hamper delivered from work this week and it contains stuff I actually like so that is a bonus
Starting to think about the big things I want to do next year with the house and garden and then my head started to hurt from thinking about the money so I gave up haha.
Hope everyones week has been ok, almost over the hump day of winter...….

Happy Monday all! (although I realise with the announcements on Saturday that may not be the case for everyone)
In all honesty the announcements haven't affected my plans in anyway, I was planning on spending it on my own (as I do every year) so makes no difference but I do understand how some people will be disappointed.
This should be a nice easy week in work as it generally is at this time of year so not sure if the days are going to drag or go quick...…..
Shortest day today woo hoo, come on spring
I always feel disappointed that I don't have much to report as I see people can make numerous updates per day but my life is just ticking over, choosing to take that as a good thing, one day I will have more excitement to report!
Hope everyone is ok though and had a nice weekend.

@bd80s your curtain news made me remember a complaint one curtain maker made to me...people do not train their curtains properly.  Seriously,  this needs to happen for the folds to hang satisfactorily.   Just in case you were wondering.  Happy Christmas! Humdinger x

Thanks @Humdinger1, excellent tip on the training the curtains, this is where I have been going wrong...…..that's the next few days taken care of for me as the stupid folds still aren't equal
Merry Christmas to you too

So its the time warp between Christmas and New Year...….in my head it is Tuesday haha
The long weekend for me was nice, relaxed, did some things in the garden, had quite a few walks and finally found the otters on the canal path I walk, I had been told that there were some down there but hadn't seen them, so happy I finally have!
Even with my day of eating rubbish (planned ahead) managed to get another 2lbs of weight so slowly getting back to where I was, no the dilemma is do I get something "nice" for tea tomorrow or am I just telling myself I should because its new years eve......decisions decsions.
Last target loan had the payment to it, have been stashing any survey funds into my savings to try and boost them over the last few months but think I will now put them to the target loan so that can be gone and then I will only have the old old credit card to take care of, this will be the year I get totally debt free!!!!
Reading some diaries (theres a lot to catch up on over the 4 days I didn't come on haha) and can see that most people appear to have a nice time over the festive period even with it being different this year,
Hope everyone is ok though, almost into a new year

Great news on the weight loss.  I braved the scales this morning but had to jump off when they started screaming at me...
