First overpayment for March - £27.56.   I’m #82 on the spreadsheet.
Hoping to add to it at the end of the month but, as usual, just glad to get something in there!
Thanks Julicorn for updating. I’m finding this very helpful and enjoyable so far this year, even if my target may not be attainable in the end, at least it’s encouraging me to overpay by what little bits and pieces I can.

    Target: mortgage free by 2032
  • #93 with another £15 for March (£25 total for the month now). I feel like I'm making tiny chips away at the mortgage and I know it all adds up but it would be nice for it to go down a little faster! I have a job interview today though for a job £15k more than I'm currently on. Money would go straight into the mortgage each month if I got the job... 🤞
Original mortgage total: £140,000.00 (July 2015) Original mortgage end date: June 2040

Current mortgage total: £54,762.71 Current mortgage end date: June 2032 Daily interest: £7.59 > £2.64

    Hi everyone!

Well on my way to my £13,000 OP target, so I am pleased.- although im just buying sofas for the kitchen and a new bed for me so I may skip a few payments to pay cash for those. Confident I can still hit target though.
Good luck everyone and thanks Julicorn!

    Morning!
#121 reporting March overpayments of £2495.66. (Using some savings) My mortgage deal is coming to an end and need to get LTV down to next band! 😊 taking my year to £4328.29. A new rate will reduce my interest on mortgage from £13.21 per day to £8.02 per day. 🤩 (locking it in for 5years)

Can you revise my target to £6250 please Julicorn. You are all inspiring me- well done all and thank you.  The small bits really do add up. TTs are my new fav thing.

Oh well done - that interest reduction will be brilliant. Are you going to keep your payments as though it was still £13.21? It's another neat way of overpaying.

I also love TTs - they are really addictive but I am slightly obsessed with them :/
    Save £12k in 2025 #2 I saved £14,660.97 of £6000 or 244.35% of my target. The 2026 Save £12k in 2026 thread is here
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I finished the year at £2880.99/£3000 or 96.03% of my annual spend so I am sticking with a £3000 annual budget for 2026
