I'm new here but would love to join this challenge, we're just seriously starting to overpay our mortgage. I would like to set our target at £7000 for 2020 please.
Looking forward to getting started

Hi,
I would love to take part again, presently #34 but don't mind changing to tidy the thread. We have now paid off our mortgage (thanks to the motivation from this thread) but need to replace savings that we used to do so, therefore I would like to set a target of £4000 to start with.
Many thanks
Kate

That's excellent, thank you Kate! I've kept you as #34 for 2020

Hello!
I was #65 in 2019 but happy to take anything. I am currently remortgaging (bleugh!) and it will reduce payments too (yay!).
We are hoping to do an extension in 2020 with kitchen and bathroom, so I will put a conservative £600 target to overpay and hope that I will do more. I am aiming to be sub £90k by 31/12/2020 even if it is only £89,999 and a very important 99p.
So stick me where you want, and many, many thanks.4/10/25Three Years Mortgage Free Yay!

That's all noted, thank you both for taking part again!
You've both still got the same number as for the 2019 challenge. 0 -
Please count me in as well. I am a FTB, my first payment will go out towards the end of Jan, and i intend to overpay the same month.
At the moment I will overpay less so monthly target of £500 for overpayments each month.
Thank you for this
