I'd like to join please. Thank you for your hard work with this. It sounds like a lot of admin!
Target of £2000 please.
It might go a bit hay wire as we might be looking to sell at the end of the year. But that's a way off yet and overpaying would be good in the meantime!
Thanks,

Hi, I'm new! :hello:
We bought our house last year (yay!) with a mortgage of £324,000 (90% LTV) plus fees of £1,499 on a 5 year fix. We've already taken over £10k off the capital, and have started making monthly overpayments already - a joint overpayment to round the standing order up, and individual overpayments with whatever spare change we have. My aim is to be at under 75% LTV at remortgage time, which of course depends on our house's value at the time, but assuming the value remains static this will require about £7k overpayments between now and remortgage time. Our plan is to make our little overpayments as we go, and make whatever large overpayment we need to at remortgage time.
Our aims are mostly around savings - partly to build up our emergency fund but also to fund the "life" that's likely to happen in the next 4-5 years - but we do want to focus on overpaying our mortgage too. So, please may I set a target of £600 overpayments for 2020? £50 a month should be achievable, and hopefully we'll be able to smash this
Thank you for letting me join, even with this tiny figure!

Number 87 (happy to move up the sheet though..)
I'll have to confirm the amount once my December payment and interest have been sorted.
Thank you for running this again, it's been a fantastic motivator for me - hoping to finally clear the mortgage in 2020.0 -
