Hi all,
#97 here with another June OP of £98.81, which should give me a June total of £368.42 - Thanks Julicorn
This is a milestone OP as my daily interest is now below £10 at £9.97 (this figure still makes me feel a little queasy tho!)
I had a look at my mortgage illustration today and it seems with my OPs I am 6 months ahead of where I should be with the remaining balance. I am really hoping that I will be in the £170s by the beginning of next year!!

I am very late to this year’s party - #36
Unfortunately after I made my target for the year I was advised that some changes are afoot at work which will ultimately impact my role. So I’ve been focused on saving as much as I can so that we can afford the mortgage in case I can’t get another job quickly.I did make an OP this month of £223.01 but I’m thinking I should take my 2020 target down to £1,500 which might be more realistic.Sorry Julicorn. I should have updated soonerSmall OPs are better than no OPs
Start date - Feb 2018 £231,000 / Apr 2042
July 2025 £116,950 / Dec 2025

Ah! The preemptive mortgage whack-a-mole payment. Glad I am not the only one who does that.
