The roof is done!!! 🙌🍾🙌 ended up with a different contractor who has done a lovely job at a great price 😊 I'm a very happy person!!!
I'm going to finish the bits and pieces in the house and the garden this year (no external help required 😉) then no more major stuff until we replace the kitchen in 2022 - next year I'm calling a moratorium on spending!
In all honesty, much of the spending this year was planned for next year but with holidays being cancelled, it made more sense to do it now. Dh and I have decided that we will not be looking at booking any holidays now until 2022 - I don't do face masks due to asthma (thankfully I don't have to go out - most food etc is delivered and dh does any additional shopping we need) so flying is out of the question for me and I can't see that changing next year.
No further movement on the kids house 🙈 I can't believe that it's taking this long to sort - at this rate it will be the end of the year before they're off 😔
Garden is doing well - picked my first broadbeans yesterday!! 🙌 loads of tuscan kale to pick this weekend along with more courgettes, coriander, basil and lettuce. I've been dehydrating the excess so plenty going into stores for the winter 😉2 -

I've been having a bit of a life rethink recently (birthday coming up so no surprises there 😉) and decided that I am getting very little from these boards these days - I used to find them very uplifting and supportive but over the past few months many of the threads I subscribe to have been incredibly negative, full of holier than thou comments and generally pretty depressing 😔 Upshot is, I'm getting rid of my account- I just wanted to come on to let those people who have contributed in any way and to say thank you to all of you - your encouragement has meant a lot to me over the years and I'm incredibly grateful for that and thank you all 😊 I wish you all a happy and prosperous future x3
