Letter of Claim - Called my Bluff

Options
Hi all

So after ignoring multiple debt collection letters from ZZPS and DCB Legal I have received a Leter of Claim (DCB Legal, 30 Days notice, response forms etc) for a PCN off Bank Park Management back in the summer of 2018.

I really really really do not want to go to court over this I would be a blithering mess, but I have come this far and I really don't want to give these scammers the time of day either. Just looking at this form gives me anxiety flutters I could really do without.

So basically I am on the fence about what to do and need some moral support. Is this the last chance to pay off the debt before I am guaranteed a court date? Is there any chance we can do anything to make them cancel the PCN or is my path set?

I am pretty sure the ANPR photos make out it is obvious who is driving the car with only one insured driver so not sure I have much solid to go on other than the other points brought up in other peoples defences.

So before I crack on with post 2 in the newbies thread is there anything else I should know?

Thanks

Have a look at this short video:

    Is that what you imagined?

With your permission, my insurance allows me to drive your car.
There are probably several hundred thousand other people, maybe many more, who could also drive your car.

If you are absolutely unable to go through with it you can settle on the court steps if you do wish.

In saying that many people seem to gain in confidence when they see how strong their case actually is.

I **Think** DCB Legal are just acting as debt collectors in this instance.
  • Yes they have added the £60 as per every other claim so really don’t want to pay that

I have had a debt collection letter from DCB Legal before this one so think it is a legit Letter of Claim, unless this is a new trick???

Brown Trout sees a lot of cases. But who cares if it's real, you CAN do this! Court hearings are nervy but fun against PPC scammers.

    :D
So basically I am on the fence about what to do and need some moral support.
That's what we do here, You can win and there is ZERO RISK.

Tell us more about the parking event and the alleged contravention?
Is this the last chance to pay off the debt before I am guaranteed a court date?
    Nope.
Is there any chance we can do anything to make them cancel the PCN
    Nope.
    or is my path set?
Nope, not to an inevitable hearing. Many are discontinued when well defended - but you have to call THEIR bluff and face it head on.

And we welcome hearings, as that is when ordinary (sometimes a bit 'blithering mess'!) newbies pull their socks up, take a deep breath like before a job interview, and WIN!

So, tell us more about the event and the car park, & show a pic of the signs.

Meanwhile, send a SAR to the privacy email or postal address shown on Bank Park's website, to flush out all their letters and photos to look at.

    :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Read the whole of this thread again, especially the post by Coupon-mad, then, calm down, make cup of tea, sit down with plate of biscuits and read the NEWBIE sticky post # 2. Submit a SAR to the PPC and, if you still have a specific question, please start your own thread where you will receive bespoke advice.

Then DCB legal had best be prepared for ABUSE OF PROCESS

How will they explain that to a judge ?

If they lose on ABUSE OF PROCESS it would make their TV soap look rather stupid
  • Where do I find newbie sticky notes sorry xx
