Hey Jacks lovely lady, you're doing so well! :j

I just don't know how you manage the NSD challenge - I struggle with one in a row sometimes... :rotfl:

    Thanks Gorgeous! :D

I think I'm just lazy You know...Part of me knows that if I get my @r$e in gear and plan things properly I can spend more time sat on my bottom with a cuppa instead of tearing about from pillar to post all the time. ;):D

And I don't have little kids either my lovely. I think that helps a lot.

Where can I get an update from you honey? Are you still writing a diary?

    Hello everybody,

Hi Jacks - I've been reading through your thread all morning and almost at the same time that I came to the end you've put the update which is brilliant timing.

Congratulations on paying off your debts, it's an amazing task, and the starting figure being what is was makes it absolutly stunning. Well done.

I'm looking forward to your siggy being changed as all the way through the thread I was wondering why there is still a debt figure there, it's like reading a novel and having a cliff hanger all the way to keep me hooked :rotfl:

All the best for the future and I hope we'll see some savings figures making an appearance.

    Toodles

Perfect timing then honeybun? :D Part of the reason that I've never been much of diarist is because I thought it would be far too boring for anyone to read. Who knew it was actually all a bit gripping?! ;):D

Thanks so much for the good wishes. I'm just getting to grips with our new SOA and then hopefully I'll be able to plan for some savings.

    Take care hon,

    Love Jacks xxx :D

    Thankyou for your reply Jacks.
I can see how much trouble you go to with everyone and i am sure that has a lot to do with your success as everyone supports you on here.
I am also astounded by the sheer determination you have show, well blown away by it as it is like a mortgage you have paid off. Well done again.

Thanks for the kind words my sweet. What a lovely thing to say! :o:D

Hubby and I have been bandying about the idea of going after the mortgage next whilst our interest rate is so low but I'm not sure how much will be possible given that our income has just halved, and I'd really like to be able to do a bit less to be honest.

I mean look at me. I haven't even been able to keep up with my own thread - let alone try to help someone else on here. My sofa's almost forgottne what my bum looks like! :D;)

Having said that, debt busting is rather addictive and I don't know that I'll be able to give it up entirely.... :p

Keep us posted re the job situation. We did a mystery diner job last night and had a real laugh, plus today I've been working. In a mo I'm off to make a huge curry for tonight's dinner and packed lunches later in the week then I'bve got eBay Feedback, emails, packing and listing to do before Lost comes on!

Jacks, I could barely believe my eyes when I saw that you're in the email. Now you know you've arrived! It is faintly amusing that you appear to posting more often in your DFW diary now rather than when you actually had the debts. ;)

ISOM was right my lovely - I was always too blimmin' busy then. Although to be honest things haven't really calmed down now either! :p

Until the insurance companies and the Jobseekers bods get their fingers out there's no money other than what I bring in so I've got to keep at it so the bills get paid.

    Wanna hear something funny? :D

I didn't even realise that it was this thread in the email cos I didn't recognise the title they used! :o:o:o

Give my love to the NSDers my sweet. I am sadly neglecting that thread in order to have some time on this one. :o

Sam - I would say it is, simply because you don't have to pay to list - you only pay amazon when you make a sale. BUT I've heard that ebay are abolishing their pre-sale charges, so.... don't know ! :D

Sorry for the hijack, jacks, I just thought I'd step in.

Hey ... you're in the email????? What???? !!!! I'd better go look again. :rotfl:

    Cheers Karmacat! :D :T

I agree with you, but I hadn't heard that eBay was considering getting rid of listing fees. That would be cool. (Although it's the final value fees that always clobber me hardest these days.)

I think heavy books are sometimes better listed on eBay because then you can charge the appropriate postage. (Amazon only allow you to charge their standard £2.75 and it's not always enough.)

When I'm listing I usually look to see what this particular book has been going for on each site and choose the site accordingly. (That's what I'm s'posed to be doing right now. :o *slaps own wrist*)

It's pretty excitin' being in the email. but if I thought 3 million people were actually going to read this thread I'd probably poo my pants and then make much better use of the spellchecker! :o:D :rotfl:
