    Evening

Right I have managed to get a few jobs done at home this evening, although I am now really tired and want to go to bed:o.

But most importantly I have done my meal planning! :T All planned until the Thursday after New Year!!! (we shop on a friday) So I am feeling really smug about it all, it all food that is on my diet so hopefully I will manage to lose a bit of weight while I am at it. The best bit about this evening I don't want Chocolate! I've not have my advent calendar today and I can't even face it, hopefully this will be a good start and I can cope with food while I am away at OH's parents over christmas.

So evening meals for the rest of the week are:

Tomorrow - Veggie burger, homemade oven chips and salad
    Saturday - Homemade baked cannelloni
Sunday - Homemade stew (with dumplings!) Thanks Mum!

Then I am away until Thursday.

I really want to go to sleep.... is it to early?

Hey Lucy - that meal plan sounds really nice! Is it the canneloni from the comfort foods cookbook? I think I might have it somewhere - my mum made it for me and it was just gorgeous :D Well done for being all organised - I'm shattered too so will be going to bed early tonight. Hopefully a good nights sleep will make things a little better?

I hope so. But I guess it is one day closer to it all being over with for this year!

The recipe I have came off the website, so it might be the same one. It's very nice though. I can cook when I put my mind to it, it's just finding the energy most of the time.

Only one more day at work and I have quite a bit to do but I will be fine, what I can't do just wont be done and I will have to catch up in the new year, I mean it's only a week, I am sure people will manage.

An early night sounds like a very good idea.

Hye Lucy - the chat i had with the dr today has made me determined to get better. She actually said a few things that have made me have a good cry in private and not feel too good about myself. But it has given me the impetus to now hopefully begin to get better. I'm really going to try to do something positive tomorrow towards recovering - not quite sure what yet - but will have a think! Might have a little read on teh internet and rather than focus on the meds side (though I am happy that they've been increased - will help me!) and perhaps look at what I can do - so that my self-control and esteem goes up again. if I find anything really good I'll post it on here...

Thanks that will be really helpful.

I guess that is a very good place to stay, to try and do one positive thing a day, or one thing that makes you feel good or better about yourself.

But I am glad that you are feeling a bit better about things. I think we forget sometimes that we are ill and should allow ourselves time to get better. Let me know how you get on and what positive things you do.

    I hate Christmas too.

I'm a supply teacher so don't get paid in the hols. I didn't get paid much before the hols either, come to think of it, got about 12 days work last term, great, just when i'm trying to sort my debts out!

Grrr, why did i retrain to become a teacher? Little did i know there are more qualified teachers than kids in my part of the country. I reckon I'll have to move next year.
Me too hence the moniker, i have had about three days supply work last term- so i wouldn't advise moving to our area any time soon!! I was thinking of moving away myself or getting another job/or setting up my own school:confused: oh woe is me!!and bah humbug.
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:

Just found a site that was on the wall at the unit today - https://www.livinglifetothefull.com It's a CBT course (free) that looks at different life skills and strategies etc on how to deal with it. I'm signing up now and hopefully it'll help.

OOoh so do you Lucy or anyone reading have any ideas for good cookbooks or websites for healthy eating. Neither me and my partner are trying to lose weight or anything, but we would like to eat better. More varied diet and fruit and veg.

I think the one positive thing a day thing is really good too.

I'm sickeningly happy at the mo, newly wed, going on honeymoon on Saturday. But I know I will get the post holiday blues....I've bad for that kinda thing. Any tips for easing myself back in when I get back in.

May sure you have something to look forward to when you get home! Or something you can both start doing together when you get back. That way exciting things stay in your life.

As for healthy eating, I've been doing Slimming World, but I imagine there are loads of websites out there.

Sea - I will have a look at that website, I did a CBT course over the summer which was helpful, i should really keep it up better than I do  Right all set of a good food day, going to have a jacket pot and beans for lunch. So good luck!

Ok again I have loads of work to do today :( But it is my last working day before christmas :D So I need to get my head down and sort a few things out. Not heard anything from my Boss in a few days, so hopefully everything is ok.

    Bye for now x
