Lucy I hope your xmas party goes well. I've got mine today too and I'm dreading it too. I had everything ready to go this morning but the trousers I needed to wear didn't fit (put on weight too  ) so I've had to panic buy a pair at lunchtime so I know how you feel. Everyone seems to be getting all dressed up and all I've got to wear is so boring and cack and I just know I'll feel like a pile of s**t/whale. I had such a hard time geting into work today - hyperventilating and retching (tmi sorry
) and panicing about being round people. I even managed to be late for a meeting too
. I'm just trying to break it into small bits... 1) get changed, 2) get on the bus, 3) find the place, 4) go in have a drink and be proud I've got that far when all I want to do is go home and hide!
I'm hoping it will get easier but even if it doesn't and I leave v early at least I went and tried to do it. Good luck tonight!
I hope it went well.
Mine was actually ok. I have a horrible hangover and can't move my head very quickly.
I was actually ok in my outfit and everyone thought I looked lovely  I have a team meeting at 11am.... with lots of tea, coffee and snadwiches :TCurrent debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Hi Lucy
Glad it went well last night, sounds like you managed to enjoy yourself (I'm whispering btw). Hope your head improves soon, lots of caffeine and some food should do the trick
taka - hope your party went well, I'm sure like Lucy you looked lovely! xxI really thought I just hit rock bottom. But today, it's like there's rock bottom, 50 feet of crap, then me. (Friends)

Well we all made it in, although lost one who HAD to go home!
Just been in a team meeting with lots of tea, coffee, orange juice and loads of food.
Head is still a bit sore, but I am very tried so that could have something to do with it!
My Head of Department what's me to sit down with my boss and put together a possible training program for him to consider. Which means depending on what we decide they might fund a degree or diploma for me!! How good would that be!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

Thanks.
Hopefully it will be, I have been told to look at the RICS website for their course which would mean a professional qualification and a could possibly become a surveyor! Which would mean a nice payrise in the furture!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Hi Lucy, just playing catch up. Thats sounds fab about the job xx0

 hey sweetie,
Just checking in, as I haven't been around much this week.
I'm sorry about the Benefit cancellation, but I'm glad you had a fab time at your "do" regardless.
It sounds like good news on the job front too.
I've just picked up my son from his work do and he is utterly hammered despite insisting that he's only had four pints (Since 6pm this evening? I don't think so! )
He turned his phone off though cos his clingy demanding gf has been calling him every ten minutes all evening (cos he's not with her) and he really needs to sleep now.
I wish he'd turned his phone off earlier though cos by all accounts his boss wasn't very impressed.
But anyway...
I'm glad you're feeling a bit more positive honeybun,
Love Jacks xxx

Morning.
Well I had a very quiet weekend. For some reason I feel really tired todaybut I slept really well.
Jacks I hate clingy people, I don't take it very well. The most irritating thing about the Benefit incident is that fact that I was told no one would be available to do my makeover, but when I got to Boots there was a Benefit consultant sat at the counter not doing anything!
But I spent £18 of my £25 and I am going to save the rest until I really want something (I might look in the sales:D)
Well I have a busy week at work. Which has just got busier as my Boss has just called in and his Dad is really ill so he isn't going to be coming in for a few days.... Doesn't sound good does it.
Anyway I had better get going.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Just found out that my Boss's Dad has in fact been taken into a hospice... not looking good is it.
