Hope you all had a safe and happy Easter. I managed to pot another 3 coins! I swapped them with my children who received them as an Easter gift!

One plain one potted from last week.
Tempted to count how many I have.
Hubby couldn't get any money from the bank self service tills. Are other people finding it difficult? Have they stopped filling them up, to get people to go contactless?

Hubby came home with a Shakespeare £2 coin. Safely into the pot it has gone.

I left the house to day for the first time since Sunday. Popped to a local shop to get potatoes and eggs. No £2 coin for me, but hubby was very pleased as he got a 50p.
    Hope everyone is okay.

My son went to the Post Office to get my mum some stamps. He came home with a £2 coin for me.

March total was 85 coins before lockdown occurred, most were plain, only had 1 St Pauls’s & 1 Richard Trevithick. Have been using my debit card since on the rare occasion I venture out.
My mum passed away Monday eve, 70 miles away in hosp, a victim of Covid19, she had underlying health conditions. So please everyone, stay safe
Im sorry to hear this Grumpyoldmoo,

I think the sooner people realise the importance and the seriousness of covid19, we will begin to find our way out of lockdown - I feel that the people sunbathing on the local beach is the reason why we are still in lockdown - I suppose we are all trying, could be worse, I see some people in US are thinking its a conspiracy by the media.

    HI everyone
On the way for our daily walk we called at the shop for an ice lolly, well, my daughter wanted sweets! She used her own money and came out with a £2 coin in her change. She was kind and let me swap it!
