    Hiya team,

Frustrating day for Cazzie today - I haven't managed to get my hands on any beautiful £2 coins AND I discovered that my cheeky mother is also collecting them! :( I suppose I can put a positive spin on things by celebrating the fact I didn't spend any money today but I'll have to tell my tin that it won't be getting fed!

Hope your weeks are lovely, and filled to the brim with beautiful 2-pounders xxx

Hi FunfAirprincess, there are several William Shakespeare coins. Do you know which one it is?

It says 2016 has a jesters hat and stick on it. I'm quite sure stick isn't the right word but as long as everyone gets what I'm saying :rotfl:

Better day for Cazzie today! I swooped in quickly to see if my brother had any £2 coins before my mother could ask him, and lo and behold, he had one! It was a special one too, commemorating the union of England and Scotland. Needless to say, it's now safely tucked away in my pot and brings me to a total of £20 so far, 10% of my target already! Well chuffed :D xxx

PS - Of course I reimbursed him - I'm not just stealing everyone's £2 coins!

I feel your pain. My mother also collects £2 coins.

What you need to do is make sure you are around when she plans to cash them in. My mum collects them to buy her holiday spending money, so when the time comes I offer to swap them up into notes so that she doesn't have to carry such a heavy load to the bank. How kind I am thinking of my mother's welfare and saving her the trouble of going to the bank.
