Evening, everyone!
One more beauty potted for me tonight, bringing my total to £18. It was a plain one but made me think to check the rest - I have six plain ones, one of Brunel, one of Trinity House and one for the abolition of the slave trade. No idea what they might be worth but it does make it even more fun to collect them! I've also committed them all to a (Christmas) sealed pot, they need to be saved for Christmas and no dipping!
Keep up the good saving!xxx

One more today in my change at the pet shop. The chap serving me apologised for not having any £5 notes. I didn’t mind in the slightest :rotfl:. Just a shame he only had one £2 coin. Where are all the £2 coins?!
You will probably have a run of them, then nothing for what seems like ages.
Don’t forget to let people know you save them - that usually leads to more coming your way. Everyone I know, knows that I save them. There are 5 of us in the office who all save, meaning competition is tight but you still get the chance to get hold of some. Be prepared with a couple of £1 coins so you can easily swap with someone before someone else gets their wallet/purse out.
I, and many others, love self service checkouts as they regularly pay out in £2 coins
