We didnt discuss business when they came down on Wednesdays which was a bit of a relief actually. I will talk to my mum she's really sensible and I think she feels I should just give it to him. I kind of feel the shares are his but I would like something for the property but also not fall out with him. He did invite us both to South Africa and we might both go next Christmas. Now got DGs rubbish cold and feel rough so cancelled golf on Sunday which was a fun team game. So annoying but she's got a chest infection. Now here's a story of how fab our gp surgery is.She put an urgent e-ticket in at 10am. We never put in urgent ones but it was Friday. Gp rang her at 14.30 and at 3pm we had the antibiotics in our hand from our nominated Tesco chemist. Wow is all I can say what a service.Having my hair done today also need to do loads around the house and send a toaster back. I got accepted on a consumer panel to test the toaster but when I went to claim the money back the link didn't work. So annoying so do not want to spend £89 on a toaster obviously.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Didn't get anything done yesterday as felt rough after haircut. So cheap down here compared to London and she's a friend so nice to catch up.Still in bed but 2 loaf of ryebread in oven will make nice lunches as we freeze it sliced.Dg feeling ill from her antibiotics but need breakfast so best get up and crack on with the to do list.Breakfast now done and washing out. Dog has to go to
a local garden centre to get cleaning stuff for hottub so annoying we didn’t get it last time we went there the plan was to order on line. Also need to do car insurance so many jobs hopefully start to feel better soon.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Got quite a bit done at the weekend. Packed away the garden furniture and sorted the hottub.Made Turkey burgers and froze 14. I grew my own herbs and spring onions so actually quite cheap to make. The freezer is now rammed as the rye bread is in the too.Sent back the toaster from the test panel campaign where the refund link didn’t work. I’ve messaged them about it and all I got was an email saying I hadn’t been selected. Well not sure I’ll sign up for anymore from them.Sorted car insurance saved £80 on renewal price everything does help. Our Asda order has gone from £45 to £65 just for standard stuff. We also use Lidl for other bits we like. I’m now putting £200 more in the joint budget than dg just to try to make I balance. We used to be able to save from it but not anymore.Anyway best get back to work a colleague is helping me with a meeting tomorrow so hopefully get it all sorted this afternoon. Super busy day tomorrow. Here’s the burger meal and breadSave £12k in 25 No 49

Did our one day bootcamp yesterday god it was tough did not help still got a cough and not over my cold. The ladies were amazing and the trainers and the staff brilliant as always. I felt I was fitter did the walk fine just sad my chest was so rubbish. Still did the whole day.Muscles ache today really badly and I'm feeling my chesty cold more than ever. Did get wet quite a few times yesterday but not sure that would have made it worse.Lost 2 kilo so chuffed so back to what I was before I put it on. Still got 7 kilo to lose but getting closer. Cancelled golf tonight and tomorrow need to shift this cold. Spent a bit of money on trip away petrol obviously and dinner in hotel plus snacks yesterday driving back. Feel super motivated to keep up the diet and can't wait to get back into the gym next week.Won £10 on the post code lottery every little help. Need to claim my points from the Nelson panel I resigned from. Still really want a new iPhone but don't feel I deserve it.Having a lazy afternoon will do some work over the weekend instead.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Still not feeling myself but the gp won't give me antibiotics due to previous allergic reaction. Still going to the gym finally tonight not been since bootcamp will be good but hard.Money shuffles done savings topped up and met goal of £6000 will use the next months on saving for Xmas. Still need to book my Christmas flights they are defiantly more expensive post pandemic. Going a few days before dh so I can spend time with my mum.Saw friends last night to look at Solheim Cup holiday in September. Might be cheaper to book weekend holiday with flights and hotel and then hire care and get a hire car. Not keen on driving in the mountains though not sure what the terrain is like. A lot cheaper than way but still £1000 for a week. Might look to just have a party at home with them staying with us could be fun too.Only having the heating on an hour in the evening our triple glazed windows act like a heat source as we are south facing. Sadly can't have solar panels as our rough face east west. Still drying clothes outside too.Well best get back to work loads to do and the team is busy as propel are on leave or off sick.Save £12k in 25 No 49

She's survived breast cancer before but this is throat or stomach not sure. Really horrible and do not know what's best to leave them alone or txt thinking of you as the husband didn't want to talk last time someone saw him at the club. He renovated our house and then retired use to bad knees and hips she's same age as me 52. Life is so short maybe we should enjoy it more.Playing golf tomorrow but otherwise need some chill time and possibly a bit of work due to sneaking off early on Friday to play golf. Morning from my new iPhone. Did go for the latest but not the pro so saved some pennies and traded mine in. It’s the max version and I had a huge cover on my old one so with this new slim cover it’s about the same size. So nice not having to put code in as Face ID works again. Still nearly £1000 but got it saved.Won £25 on Premium bonds kind up hoping they up them up with the new rate rise. Need to look at my savings as I use Monzo and they have not increased with the new rates. Might set up my Santa one again think it’s quite a good rate now could also do 1st direct like I did before putting it into Premium Bonds.Still not booked Christmas flights. So expensive and can’t be asked to fly Easy Jet as their times are crap so you can’t get the train.Today will be tidy up garden after the storms. Need to put away garden furniture too plus fire pit but nice if it was dry first. Golf tomorrow weather permitting.Took my glasses to Specsavers as on arm was about to fall off. They replaced there and then under warranty I was well pleased. It was dogs fault for putting a really heavy box on it when I first got them. I’ll make sure they go in the case all the time now.Found out a good friend has cancer again first had it at 22. Just so unfair same age as me. Makes you feel life is short why waste it.Diet not great but back in the gym did 6 sessions this week which I’m pleased about. Clothes fit better but still unhappy about muffin top maybe it’s the hrt patches. Timing is about right for that.Work is ok wasn’t that busy but next week will be. My manager and I are running a big session but she’s not done what we had planned so I couldn’t move my bit forward. There is still time next week.Right think that’s most of the updates have you all have a lovely weekend.Save £12k in 25 No 49
