Just finished my telephone hearing. The judge didn't allow the £60 add on but I am to pay bw legal £200, the original pcn and the claimants fees. Gutted but glad its all over to be honest. Thanks for all your help2

Sorry to hear it but I did warn you 2 years ago about this , especially because the payment to Premier Park did not go through and you also ignored all the letters due to thinking that the invoice was unenforceable , so too many failures and poor initial advice or assumptions , these parking charge notices ( invoices ) are enforceable , as you have found out
Make sure you pay b w legal , in full , ASAP , to avoid the CCJ getting onto your credit record ( usually within 30 days ) , paying it quickly is what puts this saga to bed

Comfort yourself that the PPC will now be considerably out of pocket. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2

Thanks for kicking me when I'm down redx!! I was also encouraged by others to see it through. Also the payment did go through it was an overstay, and obviously I have learnt my lesson not to ignore PCNs, actually to avoid getting them in the first place!
You guys have been so helpful, but the odd comment can be quite cutting sometimes!1 -

An overstay on a pay and display car park is insufficient time paid for , especially if a payment failed. You tried this argument before a judge today but they were not swayed by it , your initial failure to engage with PP by appealing and failure to take it to Popla didn't help either , it never looks good to judge ! So you have been firefighting ever since , to reduce the damage caused by ignoring the letters and falsely believing that it would never go to court !!
You have been given the correct advice throughout , by me and many others , trying to rescue a difficult case , but the options to pay £100 or £60 had long gone when you came here in 2019 , because you were at the £170 debt collection stage , prior to LBC stage and court stage !
So now you are at the £100 PCN + £100 in court and legal fees stage , making £200 in total , as you correctly said above. I have stated that figure hundreds of times on this forum over the last 6 years , since the Barry Beavis case in 2015
I tell it like it is and have done so with you for 2 years , I never thought that you would win , but there was always a chance based on a technicality , clearly it didn't happen , court is a lottery and the outcome was predictable under the circumstances , so pay up quickly and move on , so that the CCJ is expunged
I am being honest , not disrespectful , people who read this saga will learn from it , everyone , me , you , newbies , everyone , we all do ! We all try to avoid getting them in the first place , as my family and friends know !
Further regards , Redx2 -
I apologise, I'm just peed off that they get my money! Although it is less than if I had given in before going to court so I guess that's something. Also the judge did not allow interest, another positive2
