Yes it does. Don't use Britannia v Crosby. Search for my thread about the Recorder Cohen case.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thankyou I have now emailed the government consultation and I will sign up to the group action agains the dvla, is there a cut off date for that?
I have attached my witness statement but I haven't sorted appendices, costs, table of contents etc so its only the main text at the moment. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of the signage from the time of the PCN and I only have screenshots of the car park from google maps.
Would appreciate any constructive criticism!

I have not read the whole thread but the opening post states:-
"Hi I received a parking charge notice from premier park ltd ........" who are BPA AoS members.
However para 6 states:-
"I have included a copy of this sign inexhibit #for comparison. The IPC mandatory Code says that text onsignage “should be of such a size and in a font that can be easily read bya motorist having regard to the likely position of the motorist in relationto the sign”.
There are also two words joined together in some places.3 -
Thanks I hadn’t properly read through it yet, I needed to edit that bit!1505grandad said:I have not read the whole thread but the opening post states:-

A few more tweaks to my witness statement, I haven't sorted appendices yet but have shown the photos I have for you to see on the end. I'm not sure whether to add the entrance photo as it might comply with BPA?
I haven't double checked for grammer etc yet but I would really appreciate any advice on the actual content.
Thankyou

I'm not sure whether to add the entrance photo as it might comply with BPA?Only show photos that help you. Never show any that help the Claimant.I haven't double checked for grammer etcMake sure to check the spelling too. 🤓Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

You seem to have a lot of repetition, almost like you have pasted it twice. Your witness statement is "in support of my defence as already filed". Did your defence focus on the failed phone call or the signage? Not sure that signage is worth a shot if the phone call and failure of the PPC's phone systems was the main thrust of your defence.3

Thanks, I think I’ve lost sight of that! Need to go back to my defence and make my WS more conciseLe_Kirk said:You seem to have a lot of repetition, almost like you have pasted it twice.
