Vehicle Incorrectly Seized

Back to the matter in hand again:
Is the article in The Sun correct? Did four police cars pursue you and pull you over? Are the police correct when they say (according to The Sun report) that your vehicle was shown as uninsured on the database they checked and that you were unable at that time to produce evidence of insurance? If the answer to the last question is "yes" then you may find that the seizure of your car was lawful.
Just for clarification the police cannot "send you six points and a £300 fine". They can send you the offer of a fixed penalty for that amount and you are free to decline it (as it seems you have).0 -
Good idea. Yeah four police cars did pursue me and pull me over. It was showing uninsured on the police national computer database but showing insured on askmid.com
(i’m told these are the same databases but this is true and the police officer told me this). I told them i was able to provide all documentation for the registration, insurance and all transfers/changes but they refused to see my documents and said it didn’t matter as these documents can be falsified and that it’s best for them to follow the police national computer database. It was 11pm and therefore they couldn’t ring up MIB or Admiral they claimed. Yeah i understand that now and yup i declined it and chose court instead.
Thanks for focusing the matter back to where it is meant to be at.TooManyPoints wrote: »Back to the matter in hand again:

Lol i must be so important for you to be doing background checks on me 😂
What a sad life, but if you wanna play like that then why don’t you focus on sorting your eBay dispute and your Hermes delivery out and try claim back your £10 eBay purchase instead? Maybe if you put more time into your own little disputes instead of mine you’d at least be a little more productive?
It’s funny because you’re sitting here wasting so much time evidently hating and focusing on me and it’s not bothering me at all.
You sad sad sad little boy ugh, i sympathise you :rotfl:He's not a student he's a Commercial Incident Manager for the RAC and

I believe I am committed to taking on new challenges and have the potential to become an asset to an organisation interested in a candidate with a Chemical Engineering background.

Why do you care more than the officers that pulled me over? It sounds like you’re really letting this get to you
I mean even they didn’t pick all this out and yet you keep repeating and repeating and digging into it 😂😂😂
Join the police force? They could do with someone so obsessed like you. Plus it’ll be good for you to release some frustration as well because it seems like you’re really worked up throughout this forum man. Have a hot bath, relax a little, put your feet up, watch a movie (not online god forbid that’s illegal) :eek:Display of Registration Marks Regulations 2001 defines what a number plate should be like if it's not made to those specifications then it's isn't a number plate. In the case of the OP I doubt his plate was even sold as a number plate. Even if it has the correct spacing it wouldn't be legal.0 -
Can we please all take it easy because George333 is taking this more seriously than i am now and i’m getting worried0

I thought you said they turned as soon as they saw you and you pulled over before they got to you?
4 police cars (potentially the entire force) wouldn't be following and stopping an unregistered car unless they were suspicious of something else. Even if you just happened to hit a convoy of them coming back from somewhere. Your story just doesn't add up.
How long were they chasing you?0 -
