The greenhouse is down and I forgot how spacious the patio area was. Need to tidy it, get a few plants planted and the sweep it up.

Took a load of greens round to SIL for the furballs, been volunteered to take some more round on Sunday. The compost was gratefully received.
I potted up a strawberry plant, will pot another one up when I pop round again. When they root, I can detach them from the main plants and bring them home.

It's been icy cold today, I've put another fleece blanket on the bed for tonight. Thinking about bringing the winter duvet out.

We are going to a bakery tomorrow, TomBo is craving focaccia bread and determined to find some.

We have been watching old B&W films the last few days. Really enjoying the innocence and can do attitude of them.

Had chippy night, couldn't eat all of it. Discovered if I'm having side effects from my meds, I can't eat all my meal. Usually I save it for lunch the next day, but I didn't like the idea of reheating chippy chips 😐

Today has been an adventure, a slow one, but it was an adventure all the same.

Went to a bakers a few villages away, got bread stuff and cake-type stuff. The bread rolls were nice, better than supermarket, but no better than my local franchise baker (no, not that blue shop beginning G). The cake stuff was definitely miles better than I've had before.
-- We are going to try another baker further away next time, more of an artisan baker but also apparently sells local cheese / meat like a deli.

On the way back popped into A1D1 and spent £20.50, over ¹/4 was spent on bathroom stuff.
-- I will do a freezer audit this month, then when I get paid can fill it up with goodies.

It's odd not having to rush outside each day, a benefit of not having the greenhouse put back up next year!

Feeling very tired today, lack of sleep is starting to catch up with me. Flopped on the sofa this afternoon and haven't moved from it.

Winter is starting to show itself up here. Looks great outside, until daring to step out. No more short sleeves / summer dresses until next year!

£65 in the bank, 18 days until payday.

Having beef stew for tea, my herbs, spuds and tomatoes have gone into it. It smells delicious.

Tomorrow, I might be popping over to SILs in the morning. I will be making green chutney with my unripe tomatoes. I might try and do the patio organisation (depends on mobility / pain).

Ooh, proper bread, that sounds right tasty....and nice for you both to take a mini trip out & stock up.

Your body is definitely saying 'Give us a rest!' I bet your meal tastes better just because you can't put anything fresher in it than home grown. Hope you manage to see SIL tomorrow - I have had green chutney once, years ago, it had such a nice tang to it, not oversweet... and how MS is that? :)

Glad you managed to get out and about and then took the time to rest. I went to bed for a few hours today too - too many decisions on the brain!

Thank you Ren, SH and SW.

I made an executive decision to stay in this morning. I'm just too tired and haven't the energy to try and put a happy / pain free face on. I've said I will pop over in a few days with things for the furballs. I do feel guilty as I know SIL doesn't get much outside adult company.

Somehow I need to make green chutney, but all I want to do is curl up under the duvet and sleep.

I've had the last of my bread rolls, with onion / chives cheese and some shop tomatoes. Got me thinking about making my own cheese and butter, but that could be a step too far 🙈

Been poking around the flat and I think the main bedroom may have once housed a proper fire. The chimney breast sounds hollow where the fire would have been, brick around the rest of it.
-- if I manage to find a double bed with a small frame (190cm, the size of the mattress length), I can turn the bed from lengthways down the room, to width ways and have it in the middle of the room side wall to side wall.
--- I've been looking for a frame for a while, if you accidentally come across one let me know!
--- Alternative option is to get a bed made, when I get the built-in wardrobe made.

This afternoon is definitely feet up and read magazines, maybe a sleep too.
    - I'm enjoying the garden magazines I get each month, think the free seeds are fab and are saving me money overall (it would cost me more to buy the seeds than the magazine costs).
