Morning. It is so good to have a plan. Enjoy the garden today.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

Spent most of the day in the garden. I picked up all of the disintegrated roof felt / rubbish, moved loads of pebbles etc and also had a little stove on the go to get rid of some very old / well dried wood.
Next stages:
1. Two trees to be felled.
2. Sweep secret garden.
3. Put up greenhouse.
4. Plant herbs and roses.
5. Pick veg for greenhouse and grow.
6. Bulk buy / lay compost.
7. Use bulk buy bag as compost bin.
8. Bulk buy / lay aggregate for communal path.
9. Use bulk buy bag as second compost bin.
10.Buy bits, sort / make new shared path.
11. Buy bits, make raised beds, plant salad.
12. Plant veg.
13. Buy seating.
14. Enjoy garden and secret garden.
Estimated time to completion: End of June.
This evening it's chippy night, feet up and some TV!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
My fridge arrives this morning and now happily sits in the pantry.
OHs sister wanted some bits from a shop by me, dropped that off and was given a couple of pea pots in return; offered to pop to the fish and butcher shops whenever needed as they are a few minutes from me, she's within exercising time distance and OH likes running / jogging!
(Lockdown is still in force up here)
We will be growing and swapping surplus to help each other out.
Popped to the supermarket, had a double points voucher, and picked up loads. Queuing and trying to walk round / avoid people not keeping their distance was difficult and my knee kept twisting on me. It's the first time I've been out without the knee brace on and will be the last time as it's not healed enough yet.
Must do unpacking tomorrow, to clear space for the remaining things from the old flat.
Nothing planned for the rest of today aside from feet up and some films.

Watched all three Indiana Jones films, which was a bit of fun.
Weekday evenings I tend to watch science fiction and 'horror' series, but this week ive working my way through R1v3r cottage while eating my tea, as I need all the growing tips I can get. I've not got conventional TV, so tend to watch n3tfl1x and YTub3, plus whatever I get my hands on.
Today I've organised the boiler cupboard:
-- having new shelves put in as the current ones are very old / bent and not the depth I want to for things that don't get used that often eg tool kit, drill, light bulbs, car fluids etc.
Unpacked a big bag of clothes, kept more than I've put in the donation bag this time. Only one more bag to go (work clothes), then it's on to doing all the boxes, lastly it's the tallboy to empty out and go through.
-- potentially by the weekend I will be unpacked!

I love Indiana Jones. My second degree lecturer was Indy Jones in real life, he's retired in Tasmania now. Because of you and Skinty I have done some work today. Thank you for inspiring me.Aiming for a minimal spend 20223

I'm watching the 4th indy film tonight. How lucky were you having a real one doing your lectures!
Finally, I've dyed my hair, followed by the longest shower known in history. The supermarket had my brand / colour in the other day.
I'm roasting cauliflower and pork chops for tea, washing it down with some dandelion and burdockMortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -

SH - It doesn't feel like I've got loads done, but having reread from the 1st, it shows me I have! I think it's because my home still has loads to do, but the garden has had all the time / effort put into it.
I can't see my garden from my flat, only the first few neighbours gardens and they do look after theirs.
This week it's four days in total I'm working over the five days. I've enough holiday to keep doing my hours like this during lockdown. Working out my holidays I can have three whole days off per month, until the new holiday year starts, which isn't bad! It won't be viable to do half days when I'm back in the office. I don't get BHs off, but do close down for Christmas etc.
Doing surveys each evening. Don't always qualify, but making upto 75p each time I do. Got over £88 saved up now in points ready for vouchers!
OH is doing some more gardening for me today, not sure he will want to when he sees the weather. Hopefully it will dry off later.
This week's plans are getting the trees felled, waiting for my CC statement to be produced, then ordering the bulk compost / shared path materials.
-- paying for the materials on the CC so I can have a bit of an interest free period between statements and still push forward with plans.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
The garden seems to be really taking shape. Well done. Mine is in the inbetween stage - but it is so nice to have a garden. It's great you are doing surveys. You are so disciplined.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222
